Greg Fairweather - Bass Guitar

Hello :) This is the requested bass transcription I did of the Doobie Brothers song "What a Fool Believes" that Tiran Porter played bass on.
This transcription can be found at www.muzento.com when you signup with an Intermediate Lesson Plan or if you create a new intermediate "Learning Songs" lesson.
The thing to watch out for in this song is to be patient and count!
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching :)

Thoroughly enjoyed following that. I had long been intrigued with the bass line on that song. It has to be one of the best, and I'm not sure if the song would have done as well as it did had it not been for the whimsical keyboard coupled with that simple but catchy bass at the bottom. I just wanted to have it broken down, and this was perfect.

Do you have any idea why that G at 1:22 sounds so off? I hear some serious dissonance there. I hear it in the original song too, which makes me wonder if the bass player just played the wrong note over a different chord.
