I just wish he was more honest with his hormone use though. No doubt the man works hard and is an inspiration but there is no way he is not on sports TRT. With all the cardio he does his testosterone would be CRUSHED. He does a 5 mile tempo run in the AM then does squats, lunges, strait leg deadlifts, and walking lunges? No chance. Nick has personally inspired me yet is also the main reason I have adrenal fatigue as a natural thinking if he can do it so can I. I’m 5’10 150 don’t smoke eat healthy yet have 166/100 blood pressure and stress hormones like cortisol and metanophrines off the fucking charts by a mile.

@@believers1015 I mean, you don't necessarily know that to be true at all. You're a small dude at that height and weight. Last year, I did an ultramarathon training block (50km) while maintaining weight training. It's entirely possible. Plus, not sure how long you've been following Nick, but he's been weight training for at least 10 years now, 6-7 of those on camera on the channel. I'm not saying you're completely wrong, but I think it's possible just based on the precedent of getting shit done for years.

Some fast running especially for a big muscle guy but my thoughts on the bike was 1) you need to get a lot lower, flat back, more aero. If you struggle to make power at the narrow hip angle from being so low, then work on it, go super deep on the leg press (easing into it if need be). 2) for a big guy that can run that fast, you'd think the bike wattage would be ftp of 300 watts at least. At least. Probably more like a 320 watt ftp in tt position or 335 in a more upright and slower position like on a road bike. Some run fast and bike slow, it's fine, it's just a guy with big muscle, you'd think the bike would be quite a bit stronger than the run. The potential you have for an amazingly fast ironman is totally there. I'm sure you are already at great ironman pace. Maybe 9hrs 30 min currently? Just a guess.

I usually run 3 miles for my cardio training, never more than that. Yet today I decided to run for an hour straight and see how many miles I can get and I ended up running 6.5 miles. I felt like my body was about to collapse, yet here you are calling 5 miles "easy." Seeing you gets me motivated because I know for a fact that if I keep training like this, eventually I'll be able to reach your level. The thought that one day I'll also be able to see 5 miles as a piece of cake gets me pumped up! I hope I'll reach that day soon.
