The allergen labelling requirement by law only needs to list the ingredients of the Prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) food and use bold or a form of clear refence as to which ingredient contains what allergen e.g. cheese (milk) There is no other requirement to alert you on the label but it is good practice to do so. An exception would be "Packed in an environment that may contain X. Cheesy beans are much improved by adding the grated cheese after plating up the beans as you get all the stringy bits. Great video, £1.80 is taking the mick.

Reminds me of my Uni hall of residence breakfast- served by a lovely old Eastern European Lady. One of the options was Cheese on toast with beans. After the first time, I was hooked. I think I ate it every morning while living there. I’m now old enough for a bus pass. I don’t have it for breakfast but it is still a favourite quick meal when I’m not that hungry.

My granddaughter had Lidl simple beans and loved grating her own cheese for her baked potato this tea time. She loved every mouthful and cost less than a pound for whole meal. Xx

Hi mate.. actually saw this review on these beans on Fat Andy’s page a few days ago.. like you both have stated.. just buy some cheap beans and add grated cheese 😂👍👍 I would love you to review at Morrisons.. The best gourmet hotdogs.. cherrywood ones .. I used the roasted setting on my ninja air fryer for 30 minutes and checked temperature.. they taste amazing but would love to see what you think 👍👍 thank you mate 👍

So in reality, the cost is about £1 for an ounce of cheese? Utterly bonkers if you buy them. Great review as ever Gary.

Like you say it's cheaper to do it yourself, Proper cheesy beans when the cheese is all mixed through and melted is delicious. When my Nan was alive going back to the 90's she used to do us Heinz sausage and beans on toast & then she would great the cheese on top and then put the plate with the beans on toast covered in grated cheese under the grill for a few mins until it starts to go golden. When I cook this for myself these days it takes me straight back to my Nans kitchen, the smell and everything reminds me of my Nan. Nobody could do it as good either lol, it's mad how we keep memories alive. Anyway those chips looked good mate, Sausage, Eggs, Chips & Beans is one of my fav meals. Cheers 👍🏻

@@BaldFoodieGuy No problem, Whatever next though aye 🤣 Have you ever tried those Hunger Breaks -The Full Monty Or Hunger breaks - All day breakfast? I believe they're from Aldi and it's beans a bigger sausage, like a nugget of some meat, a button mushroom and some potato squares? It's in a tin, I was just wondering if you had tried them because I was raised on them I think lol 🤣👍🏻

Hmmm. I've always found bean sauce with extras can verge on the sickly. Grated and grilled cheese ON the beans - much better. You're a brave man, trying that.

Fry some onions in butter throw a tin of supermarket brand baked beans, add grated cheese before serving on toast. Sorted. I stopped using vinegar and went over to what the chip shop uses, it's called non brewed condiment.
