I never got to see Imran or Miandad play as they were before my time. Wasim Akram was my first Pakistani captain, and that 1996/97 Aussie summer where they blew away Australia and West Indies was when I knew I was in love. So my top 3 would be: 1 - Wasim Akram 2 - Inzamam ul Haq 3 - Younis Khan

Waqar at his peak (before the stress fractures etc) was the greatest bowler produced by Pakistan. He has a 30 odd test run (over a period of 4 or 5 years) where he averaged something like 14 or something with a strike rate less than 40. While playing on those roads in pakistan.

Extremely overrated and a product of self marketing. Three greatest to come out of pakistan are imran, javed, and wasim. Then next three waqar, inzi and yousaf. To cap off 10 zaheer, younis khan, abdul qadir and hanif mohammad Shoaib akhtar cannot even make it to all time pakistan test 11, let alone one of pakistan's greatest. Fazal mahmood and m asif were better bowlers. Just because you are extremely fast doesn't mean you are the greatest. Geoff Thomson and Brett Lee wouldn't even make it to australia all time 11. @AliHassan-2218 I loved watching him play. He had flair and match winning ability. I can still watch his highlights non-stop. But uniqueness and entertainment value do not make you a great of a sport. Your ability to turn up day after day and do your thing is what makes you great. Consistency at the highest level of the game for a long period of time is a must for greatness. He is very overrated and mostly because of self-promotion. He bowled that fastest bowl in a must win world cup match for pakista, in which he was getting spanked at 7 an over. We needed control and wickets, not the fastest ball ever bowled. Pakistan lost the match and he was making victory signs. He got spanked by india in same world cup at over 7runs an over. This was 2003 not 2023. 7 an over was unacceptable in an odi. He bulked up his body to look like salman khan and get a bollywood role. The bozo doesn't know that it hurts a fast bowler's knees to bulk up like that. There are only a certain muscles that you need to strengthen. You are a fast bowler, not Arnold schwarzeneggar competing in Mr. World Competition
