Here in Michigan phosphorus is banned for residential use..so everyone’s lawn ends up deficient. Also banned are many herbicides and pesticides …because of the Great Lakes and all the other waterways here….it challenging to keep a nice lawn….lawn services are privy to using some banned substances however I don’t like lawn services they are a ripoff

@@iloveitUbet sounds like a great business opportunity. Smuggle phosphorous from bordering states. Hide it among the marijuana, cocaine and fentanyl. They will never find the phosphorous !

@@iloveitUbetwe can use starter fertilizer containing phosphorus. Also, it can be used if soil/ tissue tests indicate that P is very low and when establishing new seed or sod.

@@jwhome9319 haha! Yeah and I’m Right next to the boarder here! Gotta be careful I’m sure governor DimWhitmer has a phosphorus swat team !

@@fescueme1081 i know people who apply a separate phosphorus treatment because it is not included in any locally sold fertilizer products. As a matter of fact online sellers are not allowed to ship fertilizer containing phosphorus to Michigan addresses either….indoor gardening centers sell it separately for plants and it can be sprayed on your lawn. I understand the necessity to protect the Lakes and waterways…but the environmentalists are lunatics who always take it too far. I guarantee the governor’s lawn isn’t lacking in phosphorus or anything else….she’s the biggest hypocrite self serving liar of a governor since that loser Granholm !

If you notice I am wearing a sweatshirt. Temps were way to cool for disease. The soil test came back before I did this video and said I was about 25% of where I should have been with K
