It's nice to see someone not claiming to eat 100% perfect all the time. I don't think it's that much healthier to eat perfect; pretty good is probably good enough, and it definitely isn't worth stressing about getting the most out of every calorie.

Animals are harmed on a Vegan diet too my friend... For example studies on rodent deaths during grain and sugarcane harvesting cited approximately 40 mouse deaths per acre of grain. Also don't forget the Wild bird, reptile, amphibian, and freshwater fish deaths...

@@Damian.Williams 1. majority of crops grown are fed to livestock 2. grass-fed cows require massive amounts of land relative to industrially raised animals (extermination of predators and other native species) 3. you're appealing to the argument from futility facility eg. because we cant reduce all animal deaths to absolutely zero (vegan) we should therefore purposely breed animals so we can kill and eat them (non-vegan) ... in other words, since we cant reduce car accidents to absolutely zero, we should therefore eliminate all driving laws. lol

@@natechenry yeah I don't swim "as a workout" I swim club competitively over summer and Highschool during school year. ANY form of cardiovascular exercise can boost ur metabolism, but having a higher metabolism isn't the biggest factor that determines how much someone can eat without gaining weight. If a swim a 3000 yrd hour long practice, the fact that I just burned well over 500 kals would be the reason why I can consume more calories. It takes a while to increase someone's metabolism just like any other hormone you can get blood work for. Idk if you realized this but once you stop moving, your metabolism goes back to its resting state whatever that may be

I didn't know you were vegan! I get you on the whole foods plant-based thing, like yea antioxidant-wise and overall diet quality sounds great (especially for the average person). But when you're trying to get in like 4000 calories a day and all those carbs in, it's just way too much volume/fibre to be reasonable. (Also vegan here + a runner). I just get sick of eating at that point and like need a little something to get those extra calories in. Maybe rationalizing my own B+J's addiction (except my fav is the so delicious cinnamon cookie)
