What a Scouting Trip looks like and why you MUST take one…or two!

When deciding if and where to move abroad, there are many things to consider before leaving your home of origin. In this video, you can take a look inside my scouting trip to Mexico. I will show you things to look for in your potential city and share my experiences.
There are many other essentials that are a part of the planning process, such as budgeting (both moving and living), making arrangements in your home country, because you don’t just disappear and reappear in your new home. I will share that part of the process in future videos.

Hey Fam! Thanks for watching. Scouting trips are critical in determining what your needs and desires are for moving and living abroad. Not only will you learn things about your potential new home, but you also learn things about yourself. Mexico was not the only place I scouted, and the cities mentioned in this video are only some of the ones I visited in Mexico. I also scouted Lake Chapala, Ajijic and Merida. For me Merida is just too hot and Ajijic/Chapala are smaller and slower communities than I desire. Take your time and cast a wide net in your search process to find what fits you best! Most of all, DO IT!
