Things have definitely changed at spurs. This isn't a one off kinda signing. For 2 straight years, they have been absolutely nailing their recruitments. A typical Levy wouldn't have splashed 40 million on a 18 year old, regardless of how talented he is.

If you look at it now tottenham have got a very young squad with archie gray and bergvall who are 18, udogie, sarr 21 and dragusin 22, vdv, Johnson, kulu, porro who are 23 and 24, and even romero and bentancur arent above 26 with vicario whos still young for a gk and also dont forget vuskovic who will join in winter who would be 18 by then. You put all that together and you have got a very young and exiting group of players that could very well challenge for trophies and the title in the next 1 or 2 years

Gray - Bergvall - Sarr Thats the future. Bentancur I feel needs shifted on. Esp after the whole Son racism thing. We just don't have the patience to wait for him to get back to his best only to struggle to even get into the team if/when he does. Assuming Hjolberg is defo leaving finally. Lvely chap but useless in an Ange system. Bissouma will be solid. Just needs to get his head around the tactics.

@@j4ksx I don't think Bissouma will be sold, h just needs to find that form from the first half Iof last season. Very harsh on Bentancur. He's our best midfielder currently and we definitely have time for him to get back to his best after those injuries.

@@calumroche2851 I just don't see it, bud. I hope he does get back to it as he defo WAS our best midfielder a few seasons back. He's looked poor the few times he has been on since injury. And also out for so long in a league like the PL it is difficult to find yourself again. Maddison didn't manage it either when he came back and he was out a fraction of the time of Bentancur. It's a tough one. I just feel with the arrivals, the ason thing which isn't easily brushed under the carpet if we're honest, no matter what Spurs and Son's own social media team would have you believe. All will be considered. Just think that if he has another dud season, it'll be a struggle to recoup anything for him. Selling him now may be the best option all round.

Levy needs to bring in some MEN and start chasing silverware. Spurs are printing money left right and centre. Yet Levy is hesitant to bring in a few WINNERS. Tottenham have some very special youngsters like Bergvall Udogie 21 Johnson 22 Porro 23 Kulusevski 23 Dragusin 21 Van de Ven 22 Mikey Moore 17 Donley 18 Dorrington 19 Sarr 21 and still have two exceptional young strikers like Lankashear in their books. But Levy needs to BRING IN SOME LEADERS to lead these kids to Glory..

Yes. 44 starts in the Championship is a bit too much for an 18 year old but he came through it unscathed. so he's nothing if not durable. I would like to see him play a maximum of 35 games this season for Spurs. Absolute max 40. Young players need to be nursed a little. Jack Wilshere was overplayed in his breakthrough season and he was plagued by injuries his whole career. Archie meanwhile will be a top top player for us.

All sounds very good. Only reason I have doubt is because the last player I saw you big upping that Tottenham were signing (I legitimately cant even think of who it was, thats how much of a stand out player they were) well.... I cant even remember who it was because they were obviously such a stand out. The problem I have as a Tottenham supporter is that every single signing gets hyped up so much (Maybe not as much as United signings), but we sort of have a 1 in ten record. Like, it takes ten signings to find one that is good. Im exaggerating, but for a period after Poch left, it probably was very close to that. Its hard to get excited when every player that comes in is massively hyped, then inevitably fall short, and end up going on loan until we forget them, they come back just to be sold to Fenerbace for 50 million less than we paid. I always hope for the best, but dont really get excited too early these days

Great video and just about spot on as a fan base we are devastated he’s going and it’s only because of PSR that he is he wanted to stay at Leeds he has obviously got the gray dynasty name to live up to and that is pressure in it’s self ,what I will say he’s not the finished article and would have benefited from another season at Leeds and there is talk that could still happen once spurs have had a good luck at him ,add to that he did struggle in a few games last season against good technical dribblers Jack Clark particularly caused him problems and he really struggled towards the end of the season that could have been fatigue or just the promotion pressure ,but spurs are gambling a lot of money on his potential but for me it’s a good bet,one more thing his brother harry who is also at Leeds is 16yrs is supposed to be better one to watch just don’t tell anyone it’s a secret

At the start of last season Archie was only 17 and had to change in a separate room to the rest of the Leeds team until his 18th birthday in March. Today he's a £40 million player rumoured to be on £75k a week. It would have been great to watch him grow as a player in a Leeds shirt but we can use the money to strengthen and win promotion
