You need to give yourself a break or you will get sick. The bathroom is not going anywhere! That green is beautiful! The white trim gives just the right pop! I don't think you need that chair rail! I have to say that I have chair rails in so many places in my house and I'm sick and tired of them. Bathrooms don't need them as far as I'm concerned. 😁

I absolutely love that shade of green for your bathroom! Truly is dreamy! The white trim looks so fresh especially with the green. I can visualize the whole room coming together. I don't think the chair rail is necessary, just my opinion. Maybe if it helps keep the historical aspects it would make sense. I hope you feel better quick and don't get too sick. Good vibes only! 💖☮️✨💯

Girl, as always, you rock! The color you chose is so perfect and I agree 100% with Philip and You. You don’t need to bother with the rail L O L.😂 You and Philip got to take a bath and that when you’re all done with candles and come on, you can both fit in there😂. I hope Philip gets better soon and that you continue to not catch the bug. At least we heard his voice behind the camera today. It’s a good sign that will see him soon. A girl really you’re you didn’t get sick and you did all that while being a wife and mother and homesteader. You never cease to amaze me. Look forward to the next video.

The white paint on the molding & trim makes the green pop. It's a beautiful colour, almost a heritage colour. U have done so much work to this house and u are making it beautiful. It's alot of work but so rewarding to take care of a century home. My sister and I were able to visit our great grandparents Canadian homestead a few years ago, the home they built on Calumet Island in Outaouais, Quebec at the top of the Ottawa River. This was their home they built after coming over to Canada from Scotland. Unfortunately this property is not in the family anymore but the current owners were kind enough to let us walk the property and go inside the home. We were able to stand in our great grandparents bedroom and see the incredible view they woke up to every morning. The current owners are working on restoring the home to its original glory. We hope to visit again soon to see what they have done to the place.

It is turning out fabulous. I love the color. As I had said I was concerned it was going to be too dark but I am so delighted to see that it isnt. It is perfect. I did not like the chair rail up. It cut everything off. If it was 2 toned, that would be another story but with the single color it just looked out of place. I am so excited to see all the walls done. It is going to be beautiful. The white trim is just right. It showcases everything to perfection.

I honestly love that you complete one wall at a time. I do that, too! It gives me incentive/motivation to keep going when i see how good it looks. But seriously, if you're not feeling well, please understand, we can wait. We'll still be here, looking forward to seeing you healthy and happy. Worst case, ask Philip to help and film in the meantime, to keep the work/finances coming in from KZbin. The green and fresh white is so pretty and vintage vibes. The chair rail was nice, but it was something you can revisit later if you want, because it is extra. Especially when you're not feeling great. Hope you and your guys feel better soon!

The color is turning out nice. Hubby & I completely redone our home. It was late 1800's added on to it story & a half. Do you have plaster & slat walls. They are pretty hard to work with. We spent 30 yrs. doing ours. And bought a 2 story old home in the same era. And ran a daycare center out of it. Worked 7 yrs. on it. Then the 2008 cris economy hit our small town. 55 children in a lisened daycare center. Is a major accomplishment in a small rural area such as ours. Population of around 430 or so. Economy hit hard & the bank took our home of 30 yrs. Tied to the daycare center. In 2010. We are now tettering close to 70. Still trying to come back. Living on 10 acres of family farm. That we bought back. No road or entrance. Its along story. Every single thing hubby & I have scrapped junk & made something out of it. Mobile homes hubby brought here with his old M tractor. His knowledge & takents are so impressive. He took a old doublewide we lived in & split it apart. The mover said it couldn't be done. Without experience he slowly took it one cement stack at a time. Steadily making his way around to keep each stack of cement blocks steady. Son in law & I got underneath & dug out the dirt that buried the hubs buried to get the axels underneath. It took alot of digging. Enough to get the axels & some other part I can't remember what they called it. Then the tires have to be put on. The old M couldn't pull it. To much weight. Back to the drawing board. Hubby had allready enginered a truck blade & made & welded steel forks to attach to the blade. And the hydrolics. Because it has a narrow front end. And that balanced out the weight. He mechaniced & welded for living & farmed on the side. So his solution to the weight he needed in the front end to keep it on the ground. He put the steel forks on. Ran them through a pallet & added 2 100 # tractor weights & some cement blocks. Rachet strapped them on. And it was perfect to keep the front end down. As he hooked on 2 the doublewide 1 half at a time. Brought them down the major highway 3 1/2 miles. Old M. has chains on the big tires, no paint left. I believe he stated its 1958 model. I do know I asked him what the thing that sticks out the front end is. He said its where they used to crank it to start. Its lived along life under his care. And saved our asses many times. Girl you are only beginning I say since it took us so long to get back to the family farm. Over 30 yrs. You can't even imagine how hard & how much you have left to do. I call this goat farm Rebel Island, since the bank gave us 45 days. To get out only are belongs after 30 yrs. They took everything we owned & we had to buy our old vehicles back from them. You really haven't seen nothing yet. Its along hard road. To build a island of your own. On a shoe string budget. And it takes a very long time. We have been from where you are going. And I speak the truth from experience! Its perseverance & a belief in God. On our part. I don't sugar coat what I have seen. And am just honest when it comes to life. Prorities have to be first. Its just the way it is. Otherwise we would have been done long ago. Sonetimes you do have to loss everything to realize whats important. For the good of your family. 30 yrs. gone in an instant. But hubby & I are still a great team. And make slow progress 42 yrs. coming up on 43. Nothing matters but that really. Starting over was very hard. And good God I have stories, both good & bad. No one here but each other to cheer on. Its all good that way! ❤.

That’s my bedroom color, I love earth tones. What I did on two of my bedroom walls was tape it every 12 inches vertically and paint it a different color, using the green mix with a bit of my ensuite bathroom yellow color and some glaze, mix it up and dabbed it with a rag. The glaze keeps the paint from drying too fast and gives it a slight texture and look and it makes such awesome rich looking walls. I could really see it in your bathroom using the green with either yellow or white just to slightly change the color. Just make sure to tape the width you would change the color to be the same width as the green space.😊 just an idea….

WOW!!! I white trim really set it off. The green is so pretty and I'm not a person that likes green. I always use the smaller roller they don't splatter like the big ones plus I can get into the corners with it. It's to bad you don't have a steamer it would help remove that wallpaper fast. I'm getting more excited the future you get. It is going to be beautiful Elysia. 🤟 guys too. Phillip sounds terrible my son just got over this sickness. Feel better soon Phil.
