Another great one Craig wrote it for his 19 yr old son that died on Kentucky Lake in a boating accident! He wasnt gonna record it and defo not gonna do it live but Blake Shelton told him he had to and kicked off an internet campaign supporting the song. Do the Live version at the Grand Ole Opry its very good!

At 58, I'm still a big smoosh. Lost mom and brother last year and I still miss my dad. Songs like this make me miss them more. Moving back to Mississippi, next year. My dog is getting old and I want to bury her on my land, when she goes. Update: I bought 18 acres. We've got cows and sheep, 2 dogs and my wife's horse. My wife planted different fruit trees. We're fencing off a big garden to keep the cows out. It's hard work, but we love it.

@HillaryHuffine3 жыл бұрын
I lost my cousin, who was my best friend in December of 2016, I would give anything to hug her! She had cystic fibrosis and was just shy of her 2 year anniversary of her double lung transplant. I wouldn't bring her back though, because she was in so much pain, and she's whole, happy, and home now. I don't know where you stand when it comes to faith, but I have to remind myself that to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of God. When my grandma passed last year, we knew it was coming but that doesn't make it less painful. But I remember hugging my Papa and saying, she's with Dani now. So now, anytime there is a weird sound in my house, or anything... I always say it's Dani and Granny playing pranks on me. I'm not sure where your familys land is, but my grandpas side of the family is from SE Oklahoma, basically as far south east as you can get without being in Arkansas. Very small town called Albien, but we have our family reunion down there every year. Thats somewhere that will be very hard to be when my Papas gone. Justin Moore is great, his song, The One's Who Didn't Make it Back Home... gets me every time. I come from an Army family. Also, Cody Johnson... there are 2 songs, both are great one is super upbeat. So that one is called, Y'all People. Then, he wrote this song but there are 2 versions... The original, which the video is from a show he performed, but then he re-released it and it features Ms. Reba McEntire, (that version is my favorite) but it's called, Dear Rodeo. 100% Boomer Sooner all day!... Sooner Born and Sooner Bred, and when I die I'm Sooner dead!
