Chris Cornell has THE voice of the 90s, and he is personally as a writer, guitar, most amazing singer and front man from the grunge era. He is - RIP to him - he was 1 in a miliion.

He had the best voice of the 90s, and I miss him, but Cobain was the "voice" of the 90's. Being pedantic.

everyone forgets, Cornell was Soundgarden's first DRUMMER. As great as his voice is, he never received training and didnt try to sing until he was already drumming in Soundgarden. All natural.

Great reaction. Such a difficult riff to both play on rhythm guitar AND sing live which is what Cornell did. 👏

Yes Chris Cornell...his...everything....is beyond amazing...in his prime he was a powerhouse...one of the best rock voices ever...but his lyrics.his presence.WOW.but...BUT....above all he was a beautiful person.just such a sad sad loss.makes me cry to this day. You wanna brain melter? Check out SLAVES AND BULLDOZERS...as far as sheer vocal power....you will not hear better

Not at ALL the definition of Grunge... the definition of Black Sabbath:y doom. Can't believe these guys are called grunge still today. Back when the Seattle scene was winning on the Grunge movement and the record companies were trying to sell them as Grunge, sure. But Soundgarden isn't Grunge AT ALL! Alice In Chain wasn't Grunge either. Nirvana and Pearl Jam were Grunge.

Watching you react to the grunge scene is outstanding. Your dad is an awesome man introducing you to this. Lead singer Chris Cornell was by and large the most powerful, raw, talented vocalist of all time. Please listen to as much Chris Cornell as possible. Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Solo, & Audioslave. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Looove watching you discover great music like this & others on your channel! I am 56yrs old & been a metalhead since KISS was the biggest band in the world... LOL I really enjoy seeing music that has been so much a part of my life, in good times & bad, thru "fresh eyes & ears", so to speak. I see that same joy that I felt(and still do!). I noticed you listen to certain instruments and elements in music; so I think you need to hear, "night bird flying" by Jimi Hendrix, it was one of the last things he recorded and it's all him layering tracks. Listening to every riff riff tells a different story.
