Раньше таким теннисистом был Марат Сафин, удивительный теннисист, на АО 2005 года в полуфинале победил на тот момент непобедимого - Роджера Федерера, причём в свой день рождения. Rublev won fair & square, he was the more courageous and steady player when the big moments called for it. Rublev overcame towering deficits in the match over and over again.

Rune was celebrating the points missed by Rublev in the first half of the tie break,as if he was winning them,2 of them just a cm away from hitting the line..Rublev continued playing agressively and took his chances ,and got the reward..He is the better player at the moment for sure,well deserved win..Rune as many other youngsters after winning a title think they are the best to play the game,and those are the consequences..Well done Rublev and congrats..

In my opinion a true competitor is not able to feel such a malevolent satisfaction while an opponent does tiny mistakes during his active playstyle how it was in the beginning of the tiebreak. So for me Rune looks like a sneaky racoon regardless a final result. And nothing more. Congrats Andrey! I am glad that you managed to decline your anger and keep your passion.

I remember Becker-Lendl in the season-ending finals which ended in a standard-length tie-break; all on serve, tension mounting. Lendl served at 5-6. Match of the tournament, more so than Murray's incredible comeback due to the sheer talent on display from both players. I haven't seen the draw, but I don't think Rublev will beat Djokovic. Rublev vs Korda would be an interesting contest.
