Have you looked into scheduling your emails? You can write an email and schedule it to be sent at a specific time/date so your emails can be received at an appropriate time for your manager and it gets a task off your plate when it’s convenient for you- I know this is a feature in Microsoft outlook and probably in most other email platforms.

Totally get the editing stuff. What could make life so much easier was having all clips automatically uploaded to a onedrive that someone can pull and put together the basics & and take out obvious cuts. Then you go in and make those final cuts & edits. Worked great for me on IG. Love your content Clancy!

Firstly, I LOVE those satin shirts you posted on Insta, and seeing them on in this video confirmed how much I love them! I also love that you insist on editing your footage, I have ways of doing things that I simply don't think others could copy! Not to say they can't do it, it's just it wouldn't be exactly how I would do it, so it feels inauthentic. I admire that you care about promoting products you trust and/or would actually use, I think that is a hard to come by quality in most modern day influencers. So true Clancy! I am a self employed wedding photographer and it’s definitely not as glamorous as it seems. Majority of my work is editing photos as well, but even my “off” season (right now) is busy with taxes, prepping for 2025 bride consults, updating my website, etc!! I’m also about to be on maternity leave in March and of course I don’t get any paid time off…just gotta make sure I save enough to take off! It’s so true there are always cons to each and every job! (But I wouldn’t trade what I do for anything!!!)

Ok, had to comment because I assume that you will appreciate it. Someone correct if I am wrong, but you shouldn't use a metal spatula/flipper on a non-stick coated frying pan. Not only will you damage your pan by scratching it, but small flakes of that non-stick coating that you scrape up will end up in your food.

21:39 - Hey Clancy, on "Turning off at the end of the day", I've spent 30+ years in the tech sector and this has been a constant struggle between the people who get it and those who don't. Even my father and I had constant arguments about it. Many are of the mindset that it's "just a job" and they "switch off" at the end of the day. That has not and never has been me. I am now an entrepreneur (just like you!) and it's not only a good habit, it's a REQUIREMENT for that lifestyle. I just interleave my work and life all the time, because, as you state, I enjoy what I do, and it looks like you do as well! Don't let anyone guilt you into it. When you're young and have lots of energy, that's the time to go for it!

I’ve worked from home for a few years pre covid and also home school my little guy. I always shower and change out of night clothes to work out clothes or something comfy usually no make up but always wash up and do skin care and basic stuff like that. We make it a daily task to do something daily to get out of the house otherwise it starts to feel suffocating 😂 we have a strict routine and that helps staying focused. ❤
