Great to see you back. I was thinking it was a shame you guys went just before the World Cup. Big NZ fan, think they look great but India looking very strong especially at home. I’d love them to win though given NZ lost by such a small margin in 2019.

England also lost to South Africa in the Rugby World Cup semi-final that same weekend, but this time only by 1 point and England was leading for most of that game.

Cricket 🏏 is now included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic games after 128 years. International Olympic committee (IOC) has confirmed. Twenty20 World Cup 2024 will be played in united states & west Indies. Mostly it will be 16 teams world cup Next 50 overs ODI world cup in 2027 will be off 14 teams world cup.

The only thing missing in the WC is Gabe's Post match Rant. As an Indian Fan, we are having a tournament which seems too perfect, hopefully we loose one or two before the semis, so that we full throttle during the last 2 games. I wouldn't mind a undefeated WC campaign though. That would be pure dominance. The big boys are getting amongst the runs, middle order is doing good, I think RSA should challenge India more than NZ. The whole event is having lots of meme moments and now big upsets, the meltdowns are hilarious. Micheal Vaughan recently said that ENG are fav to win this (hopefully jokingly).

Oh and quick update Australia crushed the Netherlands today winning by 309 runs to cement their place in the top four. MoM Glen Maxwell 106 off 44. Maxwell who has been sick for the last few days admitted to being ill in the changing rooms 😅.

As far as New Zealand goes, Kane Williamson has only played once, after coming back from injury, and looks like he may be hurt again, just not as badly. They may be saving him for the semi and final. Usually there has been about 3 or 4 of the batters that fire and get big scores. Unfortunately, this didn't happen against India. At the end, Mitchell was out on his feet. The batters really underperformed in the last 10 overs, Up to that point they were heading for a 300-320 total. Rachin Ravindra only made his ODI debut in March of this year, he's played 3 Tests - debut in 2021, 17 ODIs, and 17 T20 Internationals again debut in 2021. In the Egland V South Africa game, one England player got hurt when they were fielding, so they only had 9 wickets to play with when they came out to bat.

Afghanistan has recently defeated pakistan so this world cup is started to get more exciting. Now Eng and Srilanka would fight for their last chance. Because both are at the bottom.

India are playing in India, this is what they do. South Africa are currently winning their fifth match (Bangladesh) as I write this. I'm following Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Fielding is one area that really binds those three teams together. Apart from the odd match here and there, they will catch practically everything close to them and be on the money regarding runouts.

India do look the best team in these conditions right now. Their bowling is able to restrict teams to scores their strong batting line up are quite comfortable chasing. South Africa have a dangerous batting line up if they get going as well as good bowling too. Australias batting looks very top heavy, their middle and lower order just aren't firing right now. And they seem a bit short in the spin bowling department. But if the fast bowlers really step up, Zampa alone may be all they need. I still think Australia can beat india but they'll have to get 350+ and then really put India's batting under pressure like they did to Pakistan the other day. New Zealand will crash and burn towards the back end of the tournament when their overall quality and depth gets exposed, that's what usually happens to them 😂

England realistically have to win all 5 of the remaining matches including India - so yeah we're done haha. It's probably one tournament too far for our golden era, there's been some dodgy tactical decisions like fielding first in 35C (95F) heat against South Africa and some of our bowling choices and it's a mess.
