Citlali C1's release gave me a new option to see WAY bigger damage numbers from Kachina, and since I was disappointed in her DPS potential last time, I figured I should revisit it again!

I'm probably the only one that thinks Kachina's C6 was a waste potential of making use of crystallized reaction (as if crystallized reaction wasn't already a bad element reaction itself). If only it wasn't for its every 5s triggering restriction i think Kachina C6 would be a fun gameplay mechanic. Fun fact that her C6 still triggers on every other kind of shields like diona, baizu shield, and so on; even like those oceanic crab shielding thing also activates her c6.

I am using almost this exact team lol but with C6 Bennet instead of Kachina and Bennett will benefit a lot more in the future because of C6 Citlali and her ridiculous bonuses on pyro damage.

only difference is that it doesnt show up in the stat page. its similar to sara's c6 electro crit dmg.

All dmg bonus is dmg bonus(except reaction dmg bonus but whatever) , it all counts to the same dmg multiplier. The precise type maaaybe matters only if u go with one way overboard to the stat limit. I remember it(elemental dmg bonus or just dmg bonus(aka e. skill/burst etc) increased recently, but idk that wayob legend gives frickin 900%

All dmg bonus is dmg bonus and the game uses it in calculating dmg the dame way. Xilonens dmg buff for geo isnt phrased as “geo dmg bonus” because the difference is it gives a universal dmg% buff (like Furina) but specifically to geo units. So this means it also buffs Kachinas physical dmg, basically (or if I was doing infusion stuff with her). Other than that it is the same

What I’m curious about is how worth it would be to build citlali more for dmg with xilonen c2 in teams where citlali is just supporting like with arle? Could you actually make citlali do significant dmg as a support in teams like arle, rosaria, citlali, xilonen?

Personally Ive not found Citlali that worthwhile to build for damage after getting C1 (the buff is more valuable), and at C0 her dmg doesnt feel nearly as noticeable without being used with Bennett

The Shatter Kachina idea for f2p you mentioned at the start seems very cool! How would you do it if you had Kachina C6 but the rest is C0? Same team? Like, trying to buff kachina personal damage even though she would probably be full EM (or hybrid)?

EM Kachina would only work with citlali c1. The idea is on this team from Kachina hits in reality around 1/3 of the damage comes from her, the rest is c1 Citlali, so the EM build sacrifices Kachina dmg to multiply Citlali buff. You can see at the beginning of the video Citlali c1 makes Kachina go from 20k to 52k hits

But besides that, I think I get what you mean, like, if with a proper crit build Kachina went from 20k to 52k, maybe with a cheaper full EM build it would go from 5k to 35k with C1 Citlali buff + some 25k Shatter.

Soluna - in a recent stream you said something about 225 wishes on the standard banner being some sort of guarantee. I’m currently 229 wishes deep and haven’t encountered it. I started playing last August, and my complete standard banner history is: 78 wishes -> Dehya 81 wishes -> Amos’ Bow 70 wishes -> still nothing I might have musunderstood what you were saying on the stream; I tried searching for the information to double check, but couldn’t find it anywhere. It’s also possible that the number is different, perhaps 235? But as far as I understood your explanation, 225 appears to be incorrect.

I wasn’t at the stream and can’t say for sure what Soluna was talking about, but 225 is the amount of wishes needed to reach soft pity 3 times. 75 is where soft pity begins and is also the average pity for a 5-star. You’re just having below-average luck. I imagine your next 5-star will show up in the next 10-ish pulls. Good luck!

Ok I finally found the context, it was in the live stream titled “let's see how fun Clorinde is!” at around 1:35:00ish. On relistening, I think I misunderstood Soluna; the claim actually appears to be that out of every chunk of 225 wishes on the standard banner, you are guaranteed at least one 5* character and at least one 5* weapon (which does actually match my history so far). So functionally it’s intended to make sure your weapon and character pulls are mostly balanced, whereas I originally misunderstood it to be a protection against consistently going above 75 pity on your pulls.

iirc it was info from a while ago extrapolated from data analysis of standard wishing. I could be misremembering the exact number but I recall seeing some data proof of it existing. Applogies that I cannot provide it though Ultimately its basically just a system that causes you to expect an alternation between five star characters and weapons on standard banner. But if I recall, there is a maximum number of wishes you can go that is tracked separately for five star weapons and characters on standard banner before you will see another one. In your case, you have NOT gone 225 wishes since seeing a character or weapon (151 since a character, 70 since a weapon). You are close to the normal soft pity for a five star, so you will get another five star soon, but that has nothing to do with the guarantee of a weapon/character every 225 pulls. Now, IF you get another weapon on your next five star at 75 pity, this would basically mean you would be guaranteed to get a five star character at 69 pity (wishes since Dehya would be 81 + 75 + 69 = 225). Seem convoluted? Yeah it is. Its basically not worth caring about as it basically is implemented in a way that doesnt really get you extra five stars. It just makes it so you tend to see an alternation between five star characters and weapons on standard banner (meaning you will probably get a character next, and if you dont then the next five star will for sure be a character unless you get it significantly early)

@@HoneySyrupp yeah, such a waste. my furina uses chiori's weapon and it's so good. furina does a ton of damage when built for it. mine does like 110k with the crab on my noelle party without reactions. and since it's a noelle party she fully utilizes the weapon too.

Kachina/Citlali/Furina/Sigewinne. Sigewinne on song of days past. You lose (50% c2, 40% cinder city, 24.2% sig) 114.2% dmg from xilonen but gain an additional 4k flat(4700 if c1). Idk how they stack up but this may be higher Edit: You lose all res shred from this... maybe not, lmao. Lose geo resonance and xilonen skill

kachina could do triple that damage (150k per jump) and she would still be just mid. like, very usable, but not top tier. so idk why they made her SO BAD. she is probably the weakest dps in the game. if she was to be this weak they could at least make her a support with actual support utility in her kit. she does NOTHING other than hold the natlan support set.
