Very nice editing style. I wouldn't have thought to color the characters like that to make the manga panels more interesting to use as video background. I'm also glad you dedicated a bit of time to talk about the artist. Each artist puts a lot of their own visual style into their manga and it gives each of them a unique vibe. If I could make a suggestion though, the first 2 minutes are just talking about Touhou in general and could have been omitted in favor of getting right to the topic. Not that they weren't a good two minutes, but I feel like they would have been better utilized in a video that talks about the series. In any case, nice job.

It's crazy how much each mangaka ZUN has worked with develops artistically over time. Compare the first chapter of Wild and Horned Hermit to the last. Only Moe Harukawa seems to come in already as a virtuoso. But did you realize the "Silent Sinner in Blue" is both Earth and Yuyuko

This was such a fun watch throughout! I never really read any of the Touhou Mangas but I heard about how unlikable the Lunarians were in this one. Even still it was really nice to see the cast from 6-8 interact with each other (Especially when Remi was in a scene). Hope you’ll cover more of the official mangas in the future :)

As a Yuyuko fan, SSiB wasn't that bad. Now that we have LolK for reference, it's really funny how Doremy is willing to let four girls eun through the dream dimension in order to deal with the lunarians. She's much more by-the-book in AoCF, so you know the lunarians were being terrible roommates.

fun fact about the horrible lunarians we've seen up until now: they're probably among the way better lunarians on the moon... one example of the differences is: the lunarians we've seen are not against purifying(genociding+deforesting+bringing all species to extinction) the entire earth, as opposed to most lunarians who are rather against not doing it(AKA they're pro doing it). one of the reasons why the lunarians haven't done so seems to be because they'll have to be in contact with kegare/impurity... ...darn, really kinda wish Reimu managed to get the impurity on the moon now with that one kami. ...I don't remember where it was mentioned but lunarians are advanced in a similar way to what Kanako is doing with the nuclear fusion reactor powered by Yatagarasu

Good video, though I'd disagree with one small matter and say Reimu isn't so much actually dumb as that's her brand of sarcasm. She also likes being comfortable and would rather stay somewhere warm and pleasant on a cold day than deal with even some incident; and now that Clownpiece lives beneath the Shrine, Reimu has no reason nor desire to go outside when it snows. lol

To quote Reimu in chapter 10 page 7 of Silent Sinner in Blue when talking to Sakuya: "Won't the moon disappear when daytime comes? We'd better make it to the moon before dawn." i don't think Reimu's is dumb per se, but definitely uneducated. But, just calling her dumb works better when it comes to a comedic delivery over calling her uneducated.

Most of the story and lore is going to be in the printed works. And as for a place to start, just go to the Touhou wiki and look at the "print works" section and just pick one that looks interesting.

Guy, Im interested in your videos but this is coming from someone with tourettes syndrome, you ssay "fuckin'" so much that its distracting and takes oomph away from what youre saying. You're dropping "fuckin'" more than I do in one sentence and I have a neurological problem HAHAHHA! Just cut it in half. I like the f bombs. Just not so many the world loses all meaning.
