I agree with this. I'm still gonna wear my Tzittzits but this is basically where my family is at and they don't wear them. I do and it's perfectly okay. We don't harass one and another over it.

I love how Mr Cloud says "she and I" in regard to the "ministry". They are a team, digging in together. They are both a wonderful example of two people committed to Yahweh, together. 😍

Looking forward to this one. I’ve been wrestling with weather or not we’re supposed to wear them. Some teach we’re supposed to but I don’t think I’ve ever noticed Bill Cloud wear them. I do think they could be a great reminder of our covenant with the Lord and a good conversation starter.

REPENT is when you TURN to the word of God who is our Mediator. For this reason I would wear the tzitzit. Each direction you TURN will remind you of what DIRECTION you should turn.

I am quoting from this week's "Jesus My Rabbi" lesson from First Fruits of Zion which is a Messianic Jewish ministry. "In our opinion (at First Fruits of Zion), Gentile disciples should not wear ritual tassels because they send the wrong message to the Jewish community. Jewish people regard Gentile believers who wear tassels as Christians trying to co-opt their identity, pretending to be Jewish by posing as Jews. It also becomes problematic when Gentiles wearing tassels dine in non-kosher restaurants or perform actions that violate the Sabbbath because it creates the impression that Messianic Judaism disregards the Torah's laws while hijacking its symbolism. Situations like this create enormous confusion for traditional Jews and further damage the reputation of Yeshua in the Jewish community. Our Master criticized those who wear tassels for show. Disciples of Yeshua should be the least excited about flashing tassels around to attract attention..."

This is really sad that our Jewish brethren feel this way I don't wear mine for show, but because it is a command and Yahushua said "if you love me, keep my commandments". There is also no such thing mentioned in Scripture about a Gentile disciple. Ephesians 2:11 says we are grafted into the family and no longer Gentiles and slaves to sin. Romans 11:11 explains how when we as Gentiles get grafted in and start obeying the Torah as they know they should...they become jealous. Romans 11:11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. So while some are ok disregarding the commandment of Yahweh and Yahushua to please men or to keep the commandments just to put on a show for men, that is not the case with me and others that I know. It is very sad when this happens. Also, Yahushua never told anyone not to wear them, just not to wear them for show specifically.

@@kkornhaus I don't think this makes them jealous. It only confuses them and make them angry. See what I commented above also to Blake Wilson. Think about the pogroms, the crusades, the holocost. We did not make them jealous, we told them by our actions that Jesus hates them and replaced them with us. That is not how to make them jealous.

This is to Bill's comment on his reliance on The Father. Someone once said, "It is not our ABILITY God seeks but our AVAILABILITY." Also, "If we ever get the point where we believe we CAN, God will not use us whatsoever but will appoint another to our assignment." Bill exemplifies gracious humility. "The proud He will cast down, but the humble He will exalt."

Can you hold this same parallel with any other command ? I will only wear if the spirit convicts me ? Why would the spirit convict one but not the other . Numbers 15 : 39And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: For who ? You So who can look at them ? You Why ? So YOU dont go after your own heart. Him is a stretch on the translation according to the context. Im not sure if Bill wears them or not but at this midrash it seems he may not physically wear them . And this is between him and who he serves . He doesnt say you shouldnt wear them but to each his own kinda teaching . Well in this aspect of following the commands to show you love him , how does that look in this teaching . I ask again can you do this with all the commands ?

I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either. Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery-so that you will not be wise in your own estimation-that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.” “This is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.” From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. - Romans 11:11-36
