Been shot twice, blown up once, back covered in molten metal, stabbed 3 times, 2 “fatal car crashes”, bitten by 3 venomous snakes, trapped in a cave for 2 days, fell 20ish feet off a cliff face because my equipment failed, was an mma fighter with a score of 18 matches with 16 of them being wins and the other 2 I was KOed, I have met over 3 dozen celebrities, and all but 1 of these happened to me before I joined the military at 19… since then my life has been VERY… simple and I like it that way.

My principal in high school accidentally emailed me a list containing every locker combination. I never used the information for anything, and I don't think the principal ever realized his mistake. Lame ending: unlocked. I've also witnessed every single major injury in my family. I watched my mother accidentally chop her finger off with a ninja slicer, I watched my two younger brothers nearly stab each other to death as toddlers with shards of glass, I saw my sister fall off the swingset at the highest point and break her arm, I watched my father accidentally drop a newborn down the stairs, I watched my mother slip on a paper towel and break her back, I watched my brother consume an entire bottle of melatonin and go into a coma for 3 days, I watched my sister accidentally slide a drill bit into her leg while woodworking, I saw my father get a fishing hook lodged straight through his hand, And lastly, I saw my brother jump off the couch in an attempt to do a flip, but then landed on his neck, and super sonic smashed his foot into the wall, breaking one of his toes and spraining his neck. Most unbelievable of all: my worst injury was falling off the monkey bars when I was six ... I didn't break anything.. dunno how I manage to stay the least affected by what seems to be a family curse... Also I'm a direct descendant of the first person to be executed during the salem witch trials.

I think my brother had that same condition as the person in the first story. When he was younger, he would only fake a burp until he got a little older, and he finally burped. The first one I ever heard from him was so unexpected and funny. The person who had the c-section at 27 weeks is a fighter. I have a story similar to this. I was born 8 weeks early and very sick. My mother had preclamsia so bad it almost killed us. Miraculously, we both survived the ordeal. I also survived a seizure after running a high fever when I was a baby. I also escaped death when my mom was 5 months pregnant she worked as a cocktail waitress and came home late. She went to the fridge to get some water when my grandmother (her mom) saw that someone was in the fridge. She didn't like it when someone was in there. My mom said something smart, and my grandmother grabbed her by her long hair and dragged her across the floor.

When I was a kid, a doctor told my parents that my metabolism was way higher than anything else he/they (at the local clinic) had ever measured before. I was extremely skinny back then, yet I ate like a fricking harvester and went to the toilet 4-5 times a day.

I had major oral surgery over the summer. I came out looking like the kid who got bullied on the playground. My face was severely bruised on the surgical site and it jumped across the bridge of my nose making me look like a racoon. Or to quote my former superior - like I got butchered. Nobody wanted to believe that it was malpractice (whether it was intentional or not) until after I did a crapton of bloodwork and sunk hundreds of dollars into consultations. They all said I was a medical anonomly. I feeaking hate this. It's not fun. The endodontist who took over the case didn't bruise my face and I came out fine. I didn't have to take five days off work and lose money due to "doctor error." I wanted to sue and I still do.

What made me stop watching is one of the reddit that happened to me as well. As a teen, I guessed the lotto numbers correctly once, too young to play, I should have told an adult to play the numbers. Next day I couldn’t believe it when they read the winning numbers. No one believes that story despite me telling it.

Okay, so there was this sort of rite that my boss liked every employee to go through. She didn’t want us to be starstruck as it would interfere with the efficiency of our work. So the newest employee was told to help the first celebrity that came through on their respective shift. Before I knew it was Mr. Hope, I placed the tea on his table. I expected a B Lister but I never hoped to meet someone of his legendary status. I mentioned this to him and he liked the (corny dad humor) play on words. Except the play on words wasn’t intentional. I said that because I was literally starstruck. He assumed it WAS on purpose. In response, he smiled at me and said, “That’s funny, kid!” He had a little chuckle and I told him my name and that if he needed anything to let me know through his valet/driver. I felt pretty awesome for the rest of the day!
