@@Indisputed for me personally, it’s still the fact that they’re using live action characters when this should’ve been entirely animated first and foremost, especially when you’re making something like a Minecraft movie. It’s the same reason why despite being a massive Sonic fan, I’m a bit iffy on the choice of using live action, because in the case of things like these two, where they shine in their wacky worlds, unique style and expressive characters, to use live action makes it feel more like a cashgrab without any of the passion, as ticket sales clearly show that a movie will make more money if it’s live action, or at least will have a higher chance of making a good amount of money. But that’s just me. Yes, I’ve seen what they said in the trailers, but you can talk a lot in the trailer and not have that show in the final product itself, just look at something like High Guardian Spice. I just don’t think this movie needed to be another “trapped in another world” story.
