It's called The Promise. I do remember it, and it was pretty funny to me. The Banana Joe part is only at the end, and the main parts is Darwin trying to squeeze Banana Joe's stuff into Gumball's timeline. The ending was very funny to me however, something about every possible thing going wrong

I like to imagine Larry got everything back afterwards and it all ended well. He made enough money doing his other jobs (because he works so many of them) to buy a car, and his gf realised he was yelling at Gumball and Darwin instead of her and took him back. Still, it makes me mad how they ruined his life so he’d compete in the ‘lazy-off,’ all to be like “Oh, forget it. We’ll do it ourselves” in the end. But I don’t think it was the worst episode. “The Promise” made me feel really bad for Banana Joe, “The Prank” made Richard go insane and he had to come home from a deserted island. But there was no bad episode of Gumball. Those ones just had a tragic plot. That’s why it’s my favourite show 💙 (sorry for writing three paragraphs lol)

Nicole and Richard were atleast 17 when they got married, im probably low balling. I think they were in upper years of high school when they first met. However i dont think Nicole started college (there was an episode all about Nicole and Richard starting to date). Tobias slapping his friend's butts make sense when you remember thats a trope of atheletes (at least back in the day, may not be a thing now)

There are even more examples of them being bottomless. Like Buster Bunny. He also goes to school, studies, walks on 2 legs and talks, but doesn't wear anything other than a T-shirt. And he's a kid too. Another example is Wakko from Animaniacs. While his brother and sister wear pants and a dress respectively, Wakko only wears a cap and a T-shirt and nothing else. P.S. even in this very show, Gumball's brother, Darwin wears nothing but boots.

The actual worst episode is The Bros where Darwin harasses, stocks and harmed Penny all because he was jealous that Gumball's new relationship with her while he was creepily planning to ask Penny to marry him at the age of 12 resulting in them breaking up and the end of the episode results in Penny's House being burnt down for no reason. It was so bad that they had to do damage control in future episodes where Darwin had to have a self therapy session and Gumball making Penny do a ridiculous quest because he went crazy over a single emoji she sent him resulting in her almost dying many times. You may say The Girlfriend is the worst due to the sense of horribly handling an abusive/toxic relationship but at least the plot was handled quickly and painfully like a bandage, some jokes at least could of been seen to be funny and its about a character literally being classified as the school bully as well as not showing up much in the show as a whole.

Don't know why people told you The Dress is hated or bad. it really, really isn't. I mean, the Darwin having a crush on Gumball thing is really weird, yeah, but apart from that it's literally fine. The Slap...yeah It's not one of my favourites. Is it the WORST though? Hell no. There is definetely FAAAAAAAAAAAAR worse than it. cough cough THE HERO. THE FRIDGE. cough cough "I also wouldn't put it past this show if his parents randomly got married at like, 12 years old...or something." They didn't. We've seen the two's wedding in The Choices. "LIke, does this dude have interesting lore ? At all? There's no way, right." Firstly, she's Molly, a Sauropod (dinosaur). And she's the 'boring' member of the friend group/class. As for your question...uh...welll.... ...yeah, she kinda maybe introduces one of the most important pieces of lore in the entire show, one which begins the entire main overarching plot throughout Seasons 2-6. Y'know, nothing too insane. Watch The Void for more context. "This teacher has probably the most annoying cartoon voice I think I've ever heard" Well, she's supposed to be an absolute piece of shit to her students, so yeah it only fits for her to have an annoying voice If you want some reccomendations for more episodes to watch, good and bad then: *The Pressure, The Party, The Date, The Knights, and The Flower:* Multiple episodes from Season 1 and 2 that were part of an ongoing arc at the time about Gumball's crush on a certain character. *The Origins Part 1 and 2:* A two parter that explains Darwin's backstory *The Rival:* An episode showing Anais' birth and what she was like when she was first born *The Choices:* A very sweet episode revealing how Nicole and Richard met and got together. *The Shell:* One of the best episodes in the show, and well as the first to permanently change the status quo/lore in a major way with something that happens. Won't spoil what that change is though. *The Pony, The Void and The Nobody:* An episode about Gumball and Darwin trying to spend time with Anais, which also features the beginning of Rob's story arc. Who the heck is 'Rob'? Well, watch and find out. The following two episodes further contunue Rob's story, leading to him taking on a new role, as well as introducing The Void. Wait, not knowing the actual lore of Molly which started the chain reaction towards the ending. If Gumball and Darwin didn’t realize Molly was gone with no memories of her and Mr Small helping them, Molly wouldn’t of come back, Rob wouldn’t come back and the finale of s4 and start of s5 wouldn’t happen, the final episode wouldn’t happen and Rob wouldn’t know of the main threat thats occurring in Elmore. Her character itself isn’t that important but the aftermath of her character is what’s important

I actually liked this episode. It’s also metaphorically accurate for how attractive people are treated compared with others. I know, he’s literally just wearing a wedding dress instead of his usual sweater and no-one seems to recognise him, but TAWOG’s a show where a blue cat is in love with a talking peanut and has an adoptive brother who’s a walking goldfish, so maybe this might not be so nonsensical after all 🤷‍♀️

I never really got into AWOG personally, so I’ve only ever seen little snippets of episodes here and there. One of said snippets, with no context and only briefly seen on the way in and out of a children’s hospital, was from the dress. I don’t remember just how much of the episode I watched, but I distinctly remember the “worse case scenario” scene, the opening of the wedding dress box, and a scene where Gumball is hiding from a lovesick Darwin in a locker (though I may have just dreamed that last part tbh). I remember my elementary school ass being starstruck by the concept of a boy in a dress that looked *good* in the dress, to the point he was even mistaken for a girl, and he *liked* being mistaken for a girl. I loved it! So much so that I later had a dream involving wedding dress Gumball lmao. Betcha five bucks that briefly glimpsing at a waiting room tv a few times that day is the reason I like* femboys so much now- like that was clearly a formative experience for me lmao *as in I adore the vibes and am jealous of the pretty boys in the pretty dresses who all look better in femme shit than my afab ass could ever… and because they’re hot but we don’t talk about that-

I kinda get why everyone thought gumball was a completely different person in the dress. Gumball and Nicole look exactly the same besides like eyelashes on Nicole so with gumball wearing a more feminine outfit it can completely throw someone off making him look like a girl than a boy. Honestly I really liked the episode. It’s a completely stupid concept but just hilarious as a random idea.

My personal least favorite episode is The Hug, it's basically the slap in terms of how it's the same joke, but I think it's even more creepy and uncomfortable. Basically Gumball and the Hot dog guy ended up hugging in the hallway and it starts this awkward thing when they have to hug every time they see each other trying not to hurt the other one's feelings or something like that. And it just gets worse and worse until Gumball literally ends up laying on top of the guy as he sleeps (and in that scene Hot Dog guy is not wearing his buns, which means he is naked as established in a previous episode). It's just super weird and uncomfortable from start to finish. At least with the slap, it's kind of in character for Gumball since he is an attention whore, but the hug is just so much more uncomfortable to me. Also I believe they did it AGAIN in an episode called the Awkwardness, but it might have just been a one time gag, I honestly don't remember. The bros also isn't very good, I'd say it's worse than the dress, but not as bad as the slap or the hug.

Personally I hate the episode were Carrie (?) possesed Gumball to eat. Like it made me uncomfortable how she would always insist even when Gumball clearly said no, and the end is just pretty shitty with her finding a new person to continue the cycle 🤷‍♀️
