What are 10 Most Profitable Skills in Oldschool Runescape? [OSRS]

Hey guys, today I was thinking what are the most profitable skills in osrs. Well I decided to make a video as I think the most profitable skills have changed a lot from when I first started playing runescape.
Now I am going to be ordering these from worst to best. This is not taking into account the cost to level up the skill, only the potential gp rates once leveled. Unfortunately the rise of bots have made most skilling methods pretty bad when compared to pvm methods. The skills hit the hardest were the resource gathering skills.
That said, lets order the most profitable skills in osrs.

Skilling has been ruined by bots unfortunately. It's ok for a starting money maker, but will never even come close to pvm or even flipping.

@@naimafatimi4189 is it quantity or quality that does the most damage. seems like you think quantity of bots does more damage. a single zulrah bot will match the amount of gph as 30-40 cannonball bots. Also pvm bots often times just end up looking like someones alt. more time investment bigger reward. So there probably isn't as many skilling bots, but that honestly doesn't really mean anything.

Hell yeah. I do hunter as my main money maker and its pretty good. It's actually over 1m and hr and used to be way more when black chins were almost 3.5kea (now about 2.8k). If your maxed cb or a lower lvl in a total wrld (where very few pkers can att you) tick manipulating box traps, bring magic boxes for quick banking and an alt to kill chins that run away from spawns I'm sure you can catch more than 500 an hr. ~1.3m-1.5m an hr. It is super click intensive and you always gotta keep your head swiveling for potential pkers but its super fun. Granted, I don't do any of that tryhard stuff anymore since getting 99, I prefer to anti-pk. Best way to pvp IMO. You always make money despite deaths by pkers and you get to tribrid pk always ar a disadvantage (teaches you for when you actually go and pk)... and sometimes you find those whales risking way too much... and it can be a very nice bump to your gp an hr

Gem mining will require hard karajma for the underground to make a decent profit. Celestras trees are a money loss on avg (about 10k loss post-99) You can make 1.5m/hr making mud runes, low req, at the earth alter, via balloon transport

Mining rune is closer to 2.3 mil per hour using varrock armor 4 and crystal pickaxe. The no depletion and double mined rocks really add up.

A tip for people that want to do mining: Finish the Karamja diary until Hard. You will get the third gloves which unlocks a underground with gem rocks. Its really fast mining xp and the profit is great, I got 250m+ profit to level 99.

what about the pharaohs sceptre. you can get it from the first floor of pyramid plunder so you only need lvl 21 thieving. its drop rate is 1/1000 so its a relatively fast item to obtain in a few hours. the longest i had to get one has been 6 hours. and they currently sell on ge for over 6 mil. so easily 1mil an hour at only 21 thieving. obviously you need access to sophanem so i think you at least need to start a couple cat related quests or you can tele there with the sceptre. a few months ago the price for selling was just over 3 mil so it fluctuates a bit, but you can have more than one, so you can just accumulate them, and wait for the price to go up before selling them

Skilling bosses are one of the ways to make it so that combat/slayer isn't the end all be all of money making. That said, Jagex is probably going to keep on with adding pvm content, because that's "what the players want," whether true or not.

Mining is a lot more than 300k an hour. Blast mine is between 400-600k/h starting from lvl 75. profit /h goes up with lvl

Red Chins are not 700k per hour. You'll catch around 260-300. So realistically you'll make 450k per hour

Good money makers for f2p : 1 Wines of zamorak ( full of bots but just get LVL 500 And take from upstairs ) 2 Nature runes ( i got raped by 5 guys camping there but if you have the balls go for it ) 3 : Mining : Anything mining related is good clay iron , but it is f2p So yeah it really takes a hit. There is really not that f2p money makers And bonds nowdays are like 5.7m And thats a loootttt of farming for getting your first bond.

1.5m gp/h from farming? Not everyone is a low level... I get 300k profit in under 5 mins of work. That’s 3.6m gp/h. This video is about the most profitable

Not everyone is a high level or does optimal farm runs. The gp per hour shouldn't be based on max efficiency and best luck it should be an average amount not that you only buy the best seed they always grow and give maximum amount of herbs. Also the fact you can only do 12 runs a day with optimal timing and that your playing for 16 hours. Also your math is a little off there bud at 300k profit you would have to finish an entire run in about a min and a half or double your gp per harvest. So yes at 300k profit per 5mins it would be 1.5m an hour not 3.6m an hour.

Ugandulu With Runecrafting being #2 on this list it also isn’t much profit until you get to level 77 for bloods. You know, around the same level slayer you’re condoning isn’t profitable until.

Ugandulu At low levels you can do wildy slayer which can be extremely profitable with emblems and keys (though not as much as it was) and the occasional revs task. Konar tasks can be really profitable too with dragons early on, bloodvelds in the catacombs dropping tons of bloods, wyrms being solid if you bank bonds, dust devils making ~500k per task before brimstone keys, and then kurask, skelly wyverns, and gargoyles all coming before level 80. Wyverns and gargoyles are both camped off task lol.
