what i alway remember any inductor/capacitor is borrowing energy from the power supply to build the electrical field and magnet field then storage energy in the field and then return the energy, for that it got reactive power. and for non-linear device it cause distortion to the electrical grid, so it power factor (and thd) will be bad

So the label "Im" on the imaginary graph stands for "imaginary" and has nothing to do with the "Im" in the formula "( Vm * Im )/2", correct?

Yes, that's right. Interestingly, I've never noticed that before. It's obviously potentially confusing, once it's pointed out. Thanks for alerting me to it. I've added a note to the description below the video.
