When I was 8 years old, I told my mom that I wanted to become a pathologist. I'm 32 now, and I've majored in history and minored in political science, but my passion is still medicine. A lot of stuff has happened to me this year, and I discovered you guy's podcast (which I love!), and I'm seriously thinking about getting into med school. Never too late, right? You make excellent content

Electrolytes allow electrons to flow freely through our blood stream
@trollmcclure1884 Жыл бұрын
they "flow" only through nerves. Unless you have multiple sclerosis causing nerves to lose myelin and thus insulation

I have a question regarding this topic of electrolytes. I ve been on a carnivore diet for 3 months and will tell you I feel my best ever! I have not yet done lab work to see results of the thyroid and cholesterol which I had before entering this way of eating. I wanted to make sure I am balancing this way of eating and electrolytes. How do I make sure I am balancing electrolytes in my body? I do run and workout and swim but not lately cause of the weather. I'm pretty active overall. I drink spring water is my choice and different types of meat and new Zealand butter everyday and have seen a difference in my stamina as well. I also wanted to know in regards to the nervous system, I developed tinnitus back in 2015 and I find it's gotten worse and at night it gets so loud and can almost feel or sense my nervous system in my head like way too active when I lay down. It concerns me. 😟 I am aware this is alot if information here. I really enjoyed your teaching! Thank you!

just curious does your body absorb just what is needs in regulate the system? say you have low magnesium levels and high calcium, you take an electrolyte powder that has 200mg of both for example will the body purposely absorb more of the magnesium with is needed more?
