What Are Eye Floaters | How to Treat Eye Floaters Naturally | Dr. J9 Live
In this video Dr. Janine answers what are eye floaters and how to treat eye floaters naturally. She first explains what are eye floaters - things like a protein buildup or red blood cells floating the vitreous fluid casting a shadow on the retina. She talks about reducing unhealthy poly unsaturated fats, increase omega 3 (DHAs), and increase natural sunlight exposure to eyes, especially sunrise and sunset. Dr. Janine recommends decreasing blue light from tablets and devices, increase nutrients like lutein and zeaxanthin. Finally Dr. Janine gives an eye exercise that can be help with eye floaters and reduce eye strain.

Hi Dr. Janine! Great video! I started taking bromelain supplement to help with my floaters. It's supposed to help break down the excess collagen/proteins in floaters. I've also heard intermittent fasting helps, which I do during the week.

Have you had the vitrectomy procedure? That may help you. I am sorry your vision is so bad. I am just going through this floater nightmare. It's like I now have a pet spider that keeps flying toward my face when on my computer. I ordered an eye patch for the bad days. Will look into some of this doctor's suggestions as well. @@doctorjanine WIth all due respect, some of your advice is dangerous. Omega threes THIN the blood -- which can and does cause vitreous hemorrhaging -- one of the worst type of floaters. Also looking into the sun? One of the main causes of vitreous detachment!

It depends on the reason for the floaters. If you have floaters due to dry eyes these remedies can help. Mine was because of fatty liver so these remedies didn't helped me. But eventually as my fatty liver improved my floaters became less and unnoticeable.

Splash water on your eye(s) 3-4 times at one go and tilt your head back after each splash. Do it everyday and your eye floaters will minimize. Jesus's miracle.
