1:12 The best remedy for eye floaters
2:15 Bulletproof your immune system *free course!
Let’s talk about the best remedy for eye floaters. 70% of the population has eye floaters.
An eye floater is a strange little cobweb-like piece of something drifting in your eye. It tends to float around, especially if you try to focus on it or if you look away. It’s not dangerous, but it’s very annoying.
It’s really a piece of collagen fiber that creates a shadow in the back part of the eye (the retina) that gives you this image. This typically comes from some sort of breakdown tissue in the eye from internal bleeding or some type of inflammation. In many cases, this happens as a part of the aging process. It could be from some old injury, infection, or a blood sugar situation.
I believe the best natural remedy for eye floaters is autophagy. Autophagy is a condition where the body is recycling old and damaged proteins. The biggest thing that stimulates autophagy is fasting. In my opinion, a combination of intermittent fasting and periodic prolonged fasting would be the best thing you could do to help get rid of eye floaters. Autophagy may have many other benefits as well.

Dr. Berg almost always cites SEVERAL with his short videos he puts out for us. This is literally the first video I saw where he said he didn't have one to share. However, if you watch his videos, he bases it off years of experience and the thousands he surveys, and yet you rip him like he is a regular doctor who doesn't have a clue about research. He understands research better than most doing it with a PHD. Most doctors have fewer than 36 hours of nutritional education, this man literally makes a living off reading and teaching what he learns from spending more than that amount of time in study each week. The man is almost 60 and has more than 40 years' worth of research under his belt and thousands of testimonials. Just stop, you and not him sound like an uneducated fool. I am not trying to be rude to you, but why are you libeling him? Dr. Berg's clients have included senior officials in the U.S. Government, medical doctors, actors, high-level executives of prominent corporations, scientists, professors, engineers, as well as nurses, stay-at-home moms, and high school students. He does expert in-house seminars several times a week, including external seminars in Governmental agencies, including the Library of Congress, Federal Communication Commission, National Institute of Science, FBI, and many others. He has trained over 2,500 health professionals and personally helped my life greatly and was part of my journey to excellent health after medical doctors failed me. Our family works in medical science, and we have excellent insurance because of that, but thanks to Dr. Berg I don't even need to use it. What do you do? Are you a comedian? We need to stop attacking those who provide natural and preventative solutions. Preventative and natural solutions are real solutions. He didn't cite people's personal testimonies of how fasting cleared up eye floaters, but that's where he is getting this from, it's not pulled out of a hat. Health improvements from fasting are well studied, his point is no one has yet to do a peer reviewed study on this, but people say it helps. He is allowed to say that and your allowed to try it or not.

I found it on Reddit: "Ok wow! We need to talk about autophagy and eye floaters". "Ok so most of you may know what autophagy is. It's a process where your cells begin to self heal or repair broken tissue ect. And protein synthesis is increased exponentially after the 20 hour mark of a fast. So I did my first ever 3 day water fast where I didn't touch any food for a full 72 hours. It went great. I felt relatively not hungry and I lost 4 pounds. But one thing I noticed on the 4th day was my eye floaters were much better and weren't as blotched together. I had this horrible huge eye floaters right in the center of my vision on my left eye. It was so bad I was considering asking my eye doctor for a vitrectomy to fix it. But the horrible big eye floater I had in my center of my vision is freaking gone!!! It is not a placebo. I spent a good 20 minutes looking at a plain white screen on my computer to try and get my focus on that eye floater and I can't detect it at all no matter how hard I try. I am so happy I could jump for joy. You guys have no idea how depressing it was having the eye floaters distract you every damn time you look around or look at a computer screen all day. There really needs to be more studies on this and how long fasts can be used as a viable treatment for eye floaters rather than super expensive surgery."

I was diabetic for 25 years and went low carb less than 20 g for me per day and normalized A1C and off meds. I had floaters for years and started to develop macular degeneration in one eye. Started vitamin A and it halted but started in other eye. Added E, B1 and B2. Reversed the shade affect and red line to the cornea. It took me months to realize the floaters were gone also.

Prior to knowing about Keto and intermittent fasting, which is what I am starting to do now, my floaters went away. My mother in law had macular degeneration and it was awful to see her slowly losing her sight. My husband and I didn’t want this to happen to us. We had heard about Lutein helping the eyes so we both started taking Lutein 25 mg with Zeaxanthin 5mg in the same pill. We started taking this about 15 years ago. We were in our late 50’s and I had lots of floaters. They were annoying but I lived with them. I had noticed they were getting less and less until they disappeared. So taking this pill took them away. We both went to a new eye dr and when there we told him about what and why we were taking (this was before my floaters were all gone) and he was impressed with what we were doing. He said that our eyes were in great shape and the pills would definitely help with preventing macular degeneration. My eyes are still in great shape and I have been wearing progressive glasses. I can now get single vision. It’s great not to have floaters anymore. I just thought I’d share this along with what Dr. Berg says. Thank you Dr. Berg for all do for us. I love every video you put out.

God made our bodies to heal. Jesus didn't say if you fast and pray, he said when. We as humans are meant to do occasional fasts and repentant prayer reboots. Many Jews and Christians fast on the Old Testament commanded day of fasting in September (Yom Kippur - Day of Repentance and Atonement) and many Christians fast the first few days of January as they dedicate it to the Lord. And some Jews and Christians fast the last and first day of the month. It's called "Yom Kippur Katan" (little fast of thankfulness for atonement) it comes from the biblical prescription to bring a sin offering on the first of every month Numbers 28:15. To the Jews the offering is their own sacrifice till they can sacrifice in the temple again, to the Christians it's their thankfulness of Christ being the blood sacrifice that atones for sins so no other blood offering is needed, but they want to feed on prayer rather than food and offer themselves as living sacrifices not saved by good works, but saved to do good works.

Dr. Berg, thanks for the info, but you should also put a "Word" of caution to have an eye exam. If I followed the advice in this video, I would not have discovered that my floaters were due to tears in my retina on both eyes. I had to have laser eye treatment to seal the small tears. If not, one of those small tears could have developed into a detached retina which would have been more serious and would have require medical surgery or correct.

You're over simplifying the word dangerous. Are they technically 'dangerous'? No. Could the onset of major floaters on an otherwise healthy eye affect the quality of your life? Lead to depression? Suicide? Yes! Absolutely and this is the problem with the misrepresentation of floaters. Just because you're probably no gonna go blind, depending on how bad they are they will negatively effect how you see for ever. To think this should be just 'not worried about' is hilarious to me. If someone drew with marker pen over your eyeballs as you slept and you couldn't get it off, I'm sure you're just happily ignore that and carry on with your life as 'techincally' it's not dangerous. Doc it's nice to hear this from you. I thought that but it's nice to get your word of confirmation. You have been the best doctor I have ever seen. I have reversed my diabetes simply by doing intermittent fasting plus HIIT in May 2020. Since then I am off any kind of medication. In November 2019 I suddenly had floaters in my left eye and they spread in my right eye also. Thanks to you and some of good Doctors I learned to do IF and HIIT. NOW I NOTICE MY EYE FLOATERS HAVE BEEN DECREASED. Its wonderful to hear the reason from you, sir...

Was on keto for 2 years and been on 100% carnivore diet for 2 years. I eat one meal a day so my fasting goes for 22-23 hours. I’ve had floaters before I was on keto/carnivore and I still have it even though I fast for 22-23 hours daily for the past 2 years. There hasn’t been a decrease in floaters for me.

One thing I’ve learned from all of these videos by Dr Berg, Dr Ken Berry and Thomas DeLauer is that it’s a good idea to change-up your diet once in awhile. Your gut microbiome needs diversity. Once a month I add some organic fruits and even some carbs like plantain or chickpeas just to keep my microbiome guessing and diversified.

Can you suggest some accupressure points for eye floaters or any good online resource? Would be glad!
@happyday868
@happyday868 2 жыл бұрын
@@ParagGovil you want to reach the scapula in the back, the side of which that runs parallel to the spinal cord. Get 2 socks, tie the toe ends together. Drop a ball on each side of the sock. Lean against a wall . And then holding the balls by the top of the socks, run the ball "inch by inch" staying 7 times each location along the spine from the beginning of the scapula to the bottom. Stay close to the ditch at the edge of the scapula and spinal cord, depending on the size of the ball you get. I usually get the pet toys so they are firmer. You can also do one side at a time with one sock. The living points usually are in the crevice or on the line that separates the dark skin and light skin. 2) make a fist on the left hand. You can pinch and pull or deep rotational pressure at the right edge of the knuckle on the side of your index finger. Just massage around it if you are not sure where exactly. 3) go to the wrist where there is a slight bone protrusion on the thumb side ( opposite to the big protrusion of the pinkie side) . Apply rotational pressure around it. Do it at least 7 times. Repeat for the other arm. For any eye strength, at least massage with index and thumb fingers the second knuckle ( middle) of each finger 7 times, with this order, 4-1-3-2-5, 1 being the thumb, 5 being the pinkie. You can also do for all knuckles for Eyes and total health, the thumb being the central focus. On the leg you can go to the 2 front 2 holes of your knees and the holes around your ankles. You need to do 3 times a day religiously. And don't overdo. Only 7 times each location. The living point is where you feel bad pain. It has worked well with me. I do this routine once a day for eye maintenance once my floaters are gone. I was taught by a Vietnamese monk.

I doubt that there would be, as changing of diet or fasting won't help. Your eyeball is filled with a gel like substance called the vitreous humor. Some people actually have the vitreous taken out, and replaced with a substance and this has cured the eye floaters for some. Usually after cataract surgery. Another way is to have them zapped with a lag laser, which some eye doctors specialize in. Bit risky though, as your better off with good vision, and the distractions the floaters cause, than "no vision" from an operation gone wrong. I've had them since very young, but "only" in my right eye, but my left has none. If the floaters were related to your diet, I'd have them in both eyes. It's hard to believe that people believe what's in the content of these videos. Not true. I should add, I've had them since young, and they get worse with age. I hope someday they find a safe cure.

Dr. Berg, you are amazing! Today when I got into my car and I saw this long black stringy thing with a head on it floating around in my vision. I was quite concerned. Then I thought, I’ll ask Dr Berg, and voila, you informed me of what it is, and what to do about it. I thank you from the bottom of my heart! you are a gift to us!

Hi Dr. Berg, I have had floaters since I had a shallow retina detachment 35 years ago, and surgery for it. Since then the retina has been well settled. Will prolonged fasting help floaters which have been triggered by limited detachment and surgery too?
