What are fevers and why might they be good for you?

The topic of which specific mechanism fevers act by is one of grand discussion which has also been fuelled by many myths and non-scientifically based assertions. This video provides an overview of the most prominent theories of the existence and action of fevers in immunological response. it discusses the processes that the human body undergoes while in a state of fever.

Thank You I stopped by the Circle K Valero and got Ibuprofen and it helped me A LOT!! I woke up feeling better the next day. I had fever for the past 3 days on and off. First with some headache. I felt terrible. I took 2 aspirin and it got rid of it for 8hrs only.

Great video. Im suffering from fever and headache right now and find your video. Btw doing test for already sick people is very dangerous, especially without their consent (or they would now that's placebo). One more, if fever (higher body's temperature vs normal) does help fighting against infection, why the placebo group didn't do better?
