Onion belongs to genus Allium like garlic and have been in use by mankind's for ages.
Onion has low calories but is a rich source of vitamin C , flaote,pyridoxine and potassium which are good for nor functioning of body.
Onions also contain quercetin, flavonoids,anthocyanins and many other antioxidants which are not only good for heart, high blood pressure and diabetes but also good against inflammation.

Dr Sb your analysis is absolutely correct and practical. But please tell us cooked onion or fresh onion is best . Do explain us We people use onion in daily cooking ,I think fresh onion is best and more will be effective for all benefits u mentioned. Jazakallah
