In this animated lecture, I will teach you about isotopes, isotopes of hydrogen, isotopes of carbon, isotopes of chlorine and isotopes of uranium.
Also, I will explain two different and unique definitions of isotopes.
Isotopes are defined as the atoms of same element having same number of protons and electrons, but different number of neutrons.
To learn more about isotopes, watch this animated lecture till the end.

I am very glad now. Because I now I know about Isotopes. Atoms of the same element that have the same atomic number but different mass number due to the difference in the number of neutrons are called Isotopes.Iso = equal and topes =having the same number of protons. Thank you very very much.☺😁

Isotopes - Atoms of the same element having the same number of protons and electrons but different number of neutrons . Isotopes of a same element have the same chemically properties as they have equal number of electrons in their outermost shells . Isotopes of a same element however have different physical properties as they have different number of neutrons . Three Isotopes of Carbon - C12 C13 C14 Atomic number = number of protons Atomic mass - protons * neutrons
