Back when bedrock was called pocket edition, I believe around 1.0.1 or something, they added it there, mind you I haven't played pocket since then but still, in execution it was rather useless besides saving a few blocks in crafting

Shelley McConaughy I disagree, i never found it hard to get and it’s really good late game. Late game mobs aren’t much of a threat and thus, the strongest armor isn’t as needed. Ten seconds of extra water breathing is really useful, especially combined with respiration.

Really wished they revamped ocean monuments. I like ocean monuments, they are a pretty smart idea for some danger in the ocean, but they are a bit wasteful, I mean you get sponge when killing the 3 elder guardians, sponge is helpful and all, but we need somethin' more intresting worty to get for. I agree they gave too much importance to a zombie variant instead of the phantom mob which was supposedly the one they hyped up. Also the conduit should give you the ability to mine at regular speed even when floating in the water.

I think turtle scutes could've been used to craft a new shield: Turtle Scute Shield or Scute Shield. It would have a fancy scale-like design and be much more durable. If not, maybe you could use the scutes as a motif for banners and have them display a turtle

Idea Time: Jet Streams So imagine in oceans every once in a while you would come across a jet stream. Basically the sideways bubbles, but made naturally, and extend for long distances. It could be an interesting way of travel.

I love it. I would like to add to one of your ideas. You showed how the trident could be split into four pieces: Three spikes and a base. It would be cool if instead of dropping tridents, the drowned dropped just the base, as if to signify that they are using a trident of lesser quality that you have no use for, so you just take the base. From there you could either craft it into a trident using the three spikes from the elder guardian, or have some way to break them into prismarine shards, preferably not by crafting but by some other method in order to make it possible to automate. This way, one could create a drowned farm and obtain prismarine, in a less overpowered and far easier manner than building a guardian farm. This would enable a lesser quality prismarine farm, and make it so creating things with sea lanterns and prismarine would be possible without building one of the most difficult farms in the game, or by painstakingly dismantling an ocean monument, which is sort of rude, really.

It's not just the water rendering. Regular glass has an annoying texture with 100% opaque pixels. They had an opportunity to make the normal glass support translucence with the giant texture re-do and although they did make glass better, it still doesn't supposed translucence even though other blocks do. Ugh!

The texture not having semi-transparency isn't just solved by changing the texture, it's literally impossible to render semi-transparency with the way rendering is coded. Glass would have to be re-coded to work like stained glass in order for your idea to work.

Damn I really wished Mojang took your recommendations, they just always leave to wish and don't try adding too much, hence why we get the same boring caves, plains and mobs, they could really revamp the game but they keep doing small changes that take many months instead, like wow the ocean is great now but it's still barely time eating any of it, what if they just made new mobs for the caves and ores or some new mechanic to explore for hours and actually make you want stay there. Minecraft is too much about looking for a chest in a dungeon containing the same thing and that's terrible.

I wish they would improve the turtle's pathfinding while in water. I made my base in front of a man-made coral reef, which I gated off with iron bars from the outside ocean, but so many turtles (I once counted 11) get snagged on the bars trying to get through them when there is literally a gap for them to swim through... right next to them.

Actually just turtle AI in general. I've been finding turtles in the middle of forests, turtles that never move when on land, turtles that flicker back and forth when following you with sea grass (and therefore not moving at all), etc.

Here are a couple of tweaks that I would make: -Phantoms spawning the more you don't sleep in my opinion is a bad idea because it encourages skipping the night rather than waiting it out. So instead, I would make it so that they spawn the more you _do_ sleep. -The Potion of the Turtle Master not having a unique effect in my opinion is pretty lazy. So I came up with an idea where the it could have an effect where you gain resistance when you stand still.

#7 was a really good suggestion. I loved how strongholds used to be the only place to get mossy and cracked stone brick blocks. Of course I also love now being able to craft these but there was something cool about a rare limited block that really drove people to explore.

Better way to execute his coral fan idea, if a fan gets powered via Redstone it goes up, when unpowered it goes down, to get it to create a constant pushing stream it needs to be attached to a Redstone clock

My complaints to the aquatic update: 1. Elderguardians should be the only thing that drops Heart of The Sea. 2. Tridents should only be found in ruins. 3. Nautilis shells should be only obtainable by finding and killing a Nautilis which only spawn in deep sea, undetwater caves (or an abyss.) 4.there should be an abyss where the deeper you go the harder things get but the better the loot, maybe Nautilis could spawn in the abyss, maybe even a new type of guardian that protects the Nautilis. 5. Minecraft has already declined sharks. I respect that. It should be a guardian. A guardian called a Searcher, or Hunter... With instead of an eye its just a huge mouth. And these things could drop amazing stuff or maybe even nothing. Like an ocean warden but easier to fight. 6. The only way to summon the wither should involve a conduit. Where instead of a middle head its the conduit. And the only way to enter the end is to a netherstar into the portal to officially axtivate it. That is my take on minecraft and that is all.

they should swap the soul sand and magma blocks, magma blocks heat up water, making it less dence so it rises up and soul sand already pulls your down on land by slowing you down, so make it pull you down in water too

I’m afraid your incorrect. If it was just the bubbles then yes they should be rising as the magma would make them rise. (Not to mention bubbles rarely float downward). But the magma heating the water would make a convention current dragging cooler water down and making the warmer water rise which would make down draft that would drag the player down. (Also it’s a video game so physics don’t really matter and glowing magma at the bottom of the ocean looks better than dull soul sand imo).

The souls apparently escape from the sand giving the upwards bubbles and boats and people sink if the water is filled with bubbles(watch gnoggins bubbalaine video) the science is there

Drowned pulling you down is a great idea! tridents _are_ actually pretty hard to get because even if a drowned spawns with one, it's a small chance that it'll drop it, and then i think that the tridents spawn with low durability too (though they might add something to repair it with like how phantom membranes can fix elytra). the idea with getting tridents from monuments is cool tho. I think Mojang also needs to make scutes easier to get too because turtles take AGES to hatch. It would also be cool to have enchantments that you can only get for turtle helmets, like better visibility underwater, longer water breathing time etc. I have seen stuff (e.g. elevators) using magma columns to help get down in water, but the magma does damage and there doesn't seem to be a way to place a block to stop you from touching it without stopping the bubbles. Maybe make bubbles able to go through most non-full blocks (like fences)? If we had bubbles that went sideways, maybe they should only go a few blocks sideways before they disperse and disappear, unless there is a block on top to stop bubbles floating up and get them whooshing sideways

Turtle box- Crafted using two turtle shells and one chest this new storage block acts like a early game shulker box the trade off being it can only hold 9 slots.

That trident idea is amazing omg. The staff part of the trident can be in the top room of the temple in a rock or something. Kinda like the sword in the stone, and it could be an item that you can use to put swords, axes, tridents, hoes, and shovels in to display them. What would be really cool is if you can only pull the trident out of the stone only *after* you get the three pieces to put on the top of it. That could be a toggleable thing with the tridents, if you wanna display your items and don't want to have to collect pieces. This, of course, could also be the case with swords, hoes, shovels, and pickaxes as said before, the ability to collect the three pieces before being able to pull it out being a toggleable thing. Once you put the item in, you have the option to get three of the pieces. If you choose to, you can take the pieces to be held by a mob of your choice that will only drop the pieces once defeated. You also would have the option to put them in chests and item frames if you want more methods for the player to have to go through to option them. That would be really cool for adventure maps too! Hopefully this is added in the future, because it's a really cool idea that would allow for LOTS of creativity.

I would love for water to be visible behind glass, but not the opposite. underwater glass tunnels and domes are some of my favorite things to build, and part of that is because they’re so hard to see from the surface. it’s like a secret lair where you can observe everything around you without anyone knowing about it and i just think it’s super cool.

On point 2, Obtaining the Trident. I'm not sure if I missed it, but to expand upon the Elder Guardian's dropping fragments of the trident, perhaps the Ocean Monument's treasure could be a Staff (along with the gold and such), a regular weapon that has enhanced reach but does about as much damage as the shovel. Each Elder Guardian would drop a Dagger, a regular weapon with reduced range, but does damage comparable to the sword and with the speed of the hoe. Crafting a Dagger, Prismarine Shard, and a Staff in a diagonal pattern will get you a Spear. Think of it as a less damaging version of the Trident, but it can have most of the same enchantments, making hunting the other Elder Guardians easier. Crafting a Spear, Prismarine Crystal, Prismarine Shard, and two Daggers in a diagonal pattern will get you a Trident.

Turtle Shells are iron helmets with more durability, you can enchant and get respiration on turtle helmets as well, and u can restore the 10 seconds of water breathing by using the old bucket method, its arguably a better alternative to a diamond helm

I’d love to see a “Paint Bucket” item added to the game. As much as I love how my child looks on the outside.... it usually looks rather bad on the inside. I know I could always go with two-block-thick walls, but that just makes the inside smaller or the outside looks less. And am I the only one noticing that Minecraft has absolutely NO pastel colored blocks? I cannot go for a pastel-goth look in my game, without pastel blocks or items. Step up your game Minecraft, pastel lovers are not happy :P

The turtle shell is great. I use it all the time in my survival world. I combined it with respiration 3. The big advantage over the diamond helmet with respiration is, that you get 10 more seconds under water by just filling up a bucket (having air for a short time). This is no longer possible with the respiration, because your breath bubbles take time to fill up again.

The underwater caves are awesome already. They are so much fun to go through with Aqua affinity and Respiration 3, especially the underwater ravines. You can essentially fly up and down in the water to reach the ores, so the entire aspect of ugly scaffolding isn't needed at all.

I have a suggestion for number seven: What if ruins had special types of blocks that are basically the already existing blocks used in the structures, but they were chipped? For example,some blocks might have big chunks missing on the corners or something. It's not anything insane, but it would be fun to search for the elusive chipped stone bricks.

Maybe a current could be a cool idea adding onto the bubble idea you had. Like from finding nemo the east Australian current helped travel. A bubble current with animals traveling through would add to ocean nicely and provide a cool traveling option.

9:05 I haven't played minecraft for a few years than i bought the Pocket edition, i was surprised when i saw the drowneds, i loved the mechanics and the way they looked and yet i loved the idea of they only wanting to drown the player cus there are a lot of them and it would make sense if they didn't kill you but turned you into one of them!

Your idea of the turtle shell armor remembers me of an old concept of armor made of shuckler shells. While wearing it, you can press Shift and the armor would close up, heavily reducing damage the player can receive. However, you can't move fast or sprint while shifting and it doesn't reduce stuff like fall damage.

That actually sounds like a cool idea for a chestplate, where shifting provides you more defense for less speed, but not shifting provides a significant decrease in defense for more speed. Perhaps bows when shifting would shoot shulker bullets? ...nah that's silly. Still sounds neat, tho.

About the drowned: You are absolutely right. They are a little too safe (I personally wanted to see the mob A, that squid thing looked cool as heck). The drowned is just a regular zombie that drops tridents, nautilus shells and gold sometimes, the onbly new thing is if you knock a zombie into the water it transforms into the drowned when it drowns. We got enough zombie wariants, there are pigmen, z. villagers, husks regular, the new drowned and all their baby wariants. The drowned should really just try to break your boat, grab you (dealing a heart of damage) and pull you down until you kill them, if they got something in their hands or it's night and they attack you on land, they will just normally attack you. BUT even with the drowned the oceans are still really safe, maybe in future updates we will hopefully be given a mob that changes that.
