Thanks to your video, we have set a date to get a property survey. My family and I have been bullied by our next door neighbor for almost year. We have a shared driveway right between our homes. He recently paved his side and does not want us to step foot on his side. Makes it very hard for my son to get into the car without tiptoeing so we don’t get the cops called on us again for trespassing. I do have a question, once the survey is complete, what if there is no right of way? No easement? What are my rights? We live in NY state. Thank you in advance!

I am in the process of suing my neighbors over blocking our shared driveway. I have been in my home for 24 years without an issue and they have been here for 3 years and block the driveway every single day. I cannot get to my 8 ft gate and my 2 1/2 car garage. They are awful! Can't wait for court next month, when the judge points out the easement of prescription that was ordered over 30 yeats ago!

Please tell me how this works as I have a garage at the back of the driveway but the other does not. Pertinent as the shared driveway house is about to be sold and I would like rules before another owner moves in. Years of annoyance with other side blocking in driveway or across driveway. I am in a townhouse with a shared driveway. The neighbors have started playing basketball in the small walk lane between the four cars parked in the shared driveway. They are repeatedly hitting my brand new truck with stray rebounds. Playing shoot ems in 3-4ft walkway between the cars. Am I wrong to complain?

I have a shared driveway between mines and my neighbors house. Both houses have the same size driveways that can fit a car in each. Lately they have been parking beyond my property line although they can fit their SUV within their own property line. Are they in the wrong?

I hate sharing a driveway. It sucks. I'm not gonna be the only one shoveling this winter because I'm not going to shovel the driveway at all. I'm done. The neighbor just looked out her window at me shoveling as if they don't have to do their part. Freaking annoying

Why buy a home that is soooooo close to each other. I blame these Home Developers for creating this mess. Stop buying these closeness homes or shared driveway. There need to have a divided ditch slabs every single homes.
