Thank you so much. I am nine days sober. This is not my first rodeo and the reason I have failed in the past was because I my ego told me that I didn't need a sponsor or do these steps. I'm willing and able to work now. I have a temporary sponsor and I am fully committed to 90/90. Thank you again.

Been sober in AA since '97. At the time AA was pretty much the only thing. Now with internet people can and do shop. Whatever one does, it is important to persist . Progress is usually made outside our comfort zone. It is not easy but definitely possible.

I try to quit everyday, im 24 and been addicted to alcohol and weed for longer than 10 years. I get the feeling that talking with other people is one of the only ways to quit

Went to a lot of meetings and worked the steps with a sponsor. As every aspect of my life improved in sobriety, my positive outlook turned negative after attending meetings. I changed the meeting, but it didn't help. Luckily I found SMART Recovery and have been sober over 2 years now. Although AA works for many people, it only brought me closer to my next drink.

Thank you for listing the 12 steps according to the big book! In many video reviews of the 12 steps, the actual steps are not included.

Could it maybe, that somewhere inside of me, is a greater power…… myself!!! Maybe myself coming to the realisation that I do drink to much, is my OWN greater power!!! Please don’t take that away from me, cause to me, it gives me strength that I still believe in myself and can help myself!!! The love I have for myself, my own greater power, gave me the confidence to also help myself, in this case, going to they AA

The 12 steps of alcoholics anonymous is saying the same thing in 12 different ways. This is just one part of the confusion matrix that we live in today.

I don't understand, you need to tell a spouse if you have had an affair. So disagree with that.

No, that is not true. You never make an amends that could potentially harm the other person.
