Neighborhood Rec Centers: Located in every Village through the community. Typically they will all have postal stations for that neighborhood, an adult only pool(adult only is defined as 30+ years old) and a few activities such as Cornhole, Bocce, etc.
Village Rec Centers: Typically located between 2 or 3 different neighborhoods. These are often referred to as “mid-sized” rec centers. Typically at these rec centers they have a few small meeting rooms where groups can gather for meetings or different clubs. These rec centers offer a family pool where you can usually find grandparents and their grandchildren splashing around having a great time! In addition to the amenities at the neighborhood rec center, these will also have racquet sport courts such as pickleball and tennis.
Regional Rec Centers: These are the largest of the recreation centers offering much larger mixed use meeting rooms that hold larger groups and much more. Fun fact: many of these also serve as voting locations during the election season! The Regional Rec Centers have all the amenities of the Villages Rec Centers but on a grander scheme. They also feature what’s called a “sports pool” which is not used for leisure, but more exercise driven water events such as water volleyball, lane swimming and water aerobics.
