Everybody should own a Ruike 801. Period. And everybody who calls, hunts, fishes, or works should own the Buck. These are by far the two best knives I have found in your price range. I own a bunch of Buck knives and several Ruike 801s. Both also have the best steel on your list as well. That Sanvik 14C28n steel on the Ruike is the same as on the Mora Garberg. And the Buck 420HC is of course legendary.

Wow well done! I own 3 of those 8 (and about 50 others 😂) the first two are all time favorites and the last one I just got about two months ago and was blown away. It’s basically a $25 small sebenza but done as a ball bearing flipper. The lock up is perfection and it came hair popping sharp out of box. Everyone needs to buy that knife while it’s still so cheap. Great video! You got a new sub!

Leatherman c33l it’s an American made knife with 420hc, same leatherman warranty and the launcher on it is really good, plus it’s karabiner doubles as a bottle opener and mine came with a solid lock up 3 years ago. Still solid and the finish they used is pretty good. And blade is still centerd

I agree on the Ruike being the absolute best value out of the lineup. The Rat's are damn close to top budget knife winners, but that Ruike has better steel, and a ball bearing flipper, which also happens to be a rare pivot bearing system, for 30 bucks has to take the value award, hands down. For the money, it's an incredible knife. Thanks for the review..over all good picks for the budget knife crowd.

Great video! Solid choices. It's been said but thanks for looking out for us lefties! You're right, except maybe clean styling, there's no reason not to make knives ambidextrous. You can't beat the Victorinox recruit for $17. 2 great thin and extremely slicy blades, 3 screwdrivers if you know how to use It, light prying capabilities, plus a toothpick and tweezers, all in such a compact pocket friendly package. Next to that I'd consider the KA-BAR Dozier decent, though it's not the best slicer. My Buck 482 slices better and is American made, so It wins out for me.
