22:09 YES! I used to have my bands In-Ear Monitors and the Crowd Mics set up this way. All 4 of us had in ears in, stereo mixes with the X32 Then we had 2 sm57s in an X pattern infront of the stage. We had it set up to automatically turn the crowd mics OFF when the backing tracks from the TrackBook start playing.

A hidden Gem for pro tools users for the reverse reverb effect...open "DVerb" go to the part of the vocal you want to apply effect (works best on vowels ) click the end of the "vowel" hold shift and click the space before the vowel (depends on how long you want the reverb tail) highlighting the vowel and space before where the effect will start...then at the bottom of "DVERB" click reverse , then pull back the audio of the vocal clip and blend in the effect 💎

I’m a DJ who only did a little beat making on MPC a couple years ago, but dropped it focus on DJing. Half the stuff y’all talk about on the pod I have no clue what y’all are referring to but it’s fun to watch and hear y’alls perspective on music. The topics are for a niche audience but the way y’all present it has mass appeal.
@stiptreezy8481Ай бұрын
When it comes to less it more it does make a difference for sure. I have an analog outboard vocal chain that I put together (preamp, eq, compressor, eq, compressor) so now when I track vocals all I’m doing is some multi band compression in post and then it’s effects and automation. The process is so much faster now.

I really don't comment as much as I should but I watch every episode. Bringing artist on the show would be a huge game changer. As an artist who records and mixes myself, I'd love to hear from others who do the same. Ariana Grande, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Future all track themselves. Chris Brown has a very fast paced workflow, etc ect. It would be nice to see the strengths and weaknesses of certain types of artist in there creative environment

Something to consider: realistically, if you had Chris Brown on the pod, that might not go so hot for you, because even if you don't get into the personal stuff, having him on the pod is going to insinuating to some people that you're able to turn a bilnd eye to his controversies. Just something to think about. Hope to see some cool artists on the pod tho
