I got Omicron on NYE, my symptoms are almost word for word what this doc said - slightly scratchy throat, bit of nasal congestion, night sweats, occasionally nausea, appetite down a bit. Tested positive today. Will update. DAY 1 (Saturday, July 2): Sore throat, fatigue and a severe tension headache which lasted for 24 hours. It finally eased down with Tylenol, but I felt mild pressure pain on my temples. DAY 2: Sore throat and headache disappeared in the morning. In the late afternoon, however, my throat started to feel like sandpaper every time I swallowed. Not necessarily painful, but it was certainly an annoyance (comparable to an itch that a scratch can't fix or a small spider crawling around my esophagus). Had a dry cough for 3 hours and developed a runny nose after taking a shower. DAY 3: Woke up feeling relatively normal, other than a runny nose with more mucus than usual. Had a wet cough, which went away after I coughed up a bit of mucus. Throat feels clear now, but I feel as if there's an irritant still lingering in the lower parts of my throat. Head feels a bit cloudy and my surroundings look very hypnagogic and transitory.

Thank you for your timeline. This helps me prepare for what may possibly come in the next few days. My 8-year-old daughter has it. Here’s her timeline: Sunday 11/20/22 started to feel unwell. Little cough. Monday low fever 100.2 slept all day Tuesday feeling better. A little cough 100 degree fever throughout the day and night. Wednesday she says she feels fine. 98.6 temp. I’m really hoping she doesn’t go backwards and all of a sudden get more sick. Thought i saw somewhere that some people get better and then at the 10-12 day mark they’ll get really sick. As for me, I’m 53 and felt a little unwell and headache on Tuesday. I feel better, but it’s still early in the day. Tested negative in Tuesday. I’ll test again if i start having symptoms other than headache. Her dad is 48 and has headache and body aches and feeling of his body fighting off something. Also tested negative.

Tested positive yesterday but symptoms started the day before with a mild cough. Didn’t think much of it but the next day things got progressively worse and by 5pm I had the worst body aches I’ve ever experienced and a terrible headache. I take Tylenol every 8 hours and it helps a lot. I am also having trouble sleeping (can’t sleep long stretches) and was throwing up yesterday and all night but I’m also 9 weeks pregnant and throw up often because of that. I also experience the night sweats. I wake up dripping. Today is technically day three and I’m hoping for a speedy recovery.

Lots of dizziness. Lots of stomach pains, foggy, hard to concentrate on anything for long. Some mild sinus symptoms so far. I do have an autoimmune disorder, but so far this has been mild for me. Since the only way they can determine which Covid genomes are active they have to do a study in a lab with a highly trained person and extremely sophisticated equipment. Other than that, no one really knows which variant a person is testing positive for. The tests available through purchase, hospitals, clinics do not designate the different genomes. They would have you believe differently but this is the honest truth. Different symptoms are really the only way the average person can identify which variant they have. It sounds like you had the very first Covid identified.

I think alot of people are testing too early for how omicron reacts with tests. Even pcr. My family of 4 all got sick, my husband first, and he gave it to all of us. The adults, me and him, got a test and it was day 1 of full day symptoms for me but like day 5 of symptoms for him. I tested negative but he tested positive. If it was me alone I would have been under the impression I did not have covid. They're missing numbers here and giving wrong info by not asking how many full days of symptoms someone's had before the test. The numbers are waaaaay higher than being reported on percent of covid negative tests. Vaccinated btw, still got sick, all of us. The info about what days to test for this particular variant need to be relayed to the public more. Days 3 to 8 has the most viral load I later learned. I was too early. Many false negatives would be prevented. I would have thought I just had a cold but it was wrong wrong wrong. We all have all the omicron symptoms to a T and all got it from husband.

- June 2022 - My husband had what he thought was a mild cold with a cough. That went on for about 5 days. Nothing serious at all…typical head cold symptoms. Suddenly yesterday, completely out of the blue he went from being fine to a 102.3 fever with extreme chills. I’m telling you he was okay and 15 minutes later I found him in bed and buried under the comforter feeling cold but burning up. I gave him a test 4 days ago and it was negative. Yesterday he did another home test and it turned positive almost immediately. Last night he had night sweats and was throwing up. Today it’s 3:45pm. He woke up and took a shower this morning. He had some toast, drank some electrolytes and he’s been sleeping ever since. My 12 year old had Covid in early May 2022. She went to school with zero cold symptoms and 4 hours later the school nurse called me to say 103.8 fever. She tested negative at school but I tested her 4 days later with a 15 minute home test and the second positive line showed up within the first minute. Her sense of taste and smell went away after a week of fighting Covid at home. A lot of her symptoms were weakness, headache, exhaustion, dry cough, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. She was feeling okay by day 10. I’m super nervous right now because my throat is sort of bothering me and a have a mild runny nose. I have two kids here at home (10 and 12) with no family nearby so I’m hoping I don’t suddenly come down with the fever that appears out of nowhere.

@@SSolis-pp9sn You might be asymptomatic... Ask for antibody blood test... OR,if your Doctor is willing to run ONE interesting experiment, have your stool, when you have fever vs when not, tested via the regular antigen PCR test...or home kit? And READ: Infection with the virus that causes COVID-19 can trigger an immune response that lasts well beyond the initial infection and recovery -- even among people who had mild symptoms or no symptoms at all, according to Cedars-Sinai investigators. The findings are published in the Journal of Translational Medicine. When people are infected with a virus or other pathogen, their bodies unleash proteins called antibodies that detect foreign substances and keep them from invading cells. In some cases, however, people produce autoantibodies that can attack the body's own organs and tissues over time. The Cedars-Sinai investigators found that people with prior infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, have a wide variety of autoantibodies up to six months after they have fully recovered. Prior to this study, researchers knew that severe cases of COVID-19 can stress the immune system so much that autoantibodies are produced. This study is the first to report not only the presence of elevated autoantibodies after mild or asymptomatic infection, but their persistence over time..." All the best for you and your families. 👍😷☺️ Godless Best, A.E. Projectheureka LLC;

@@stevewhocares9970 Before the vaccine the death rate was less than .05%. So…chances they would’ve survived. Maybe we should look more into treatments and not just relay on a vaccine that doesn’t work.

I just left the Cotton Bowl Classic and I started having upper respatory symptoms, running nose, and difficulty breathing. I'm Vaxed and boosted, waiting for the results of my COVID-19 Test. *****Update***** My doctor just called and told me it's COVID-19 not sure but I am guessing it's Omercron because my symptoms are pretty mild compared to when I first got C-19 in February 2020. @globetwig44012 жыл бұрын
Muscular skeletal pain is extremely common in both covid-19 infection & post covid. Joint pains with fibromyalgia type symptoms and fatigue are very common and not at all unusual. It's due to inflammation.

I got sick on the 27th, and I have been sweating through my clothes ever since. My son(5-not vax'd) threw up all day the first day he was sick. My daughter 4(unvaxd) just slept for like a day and a half and then was fine. I am double vaxed but not boosted and today was the first day I felt 'better' since dec 27th. Seriously these night sweats were the worst. And all the ppl i know who are boosted did MUUUCH better. I felt like i was dying for at least 3 days.

Day 1 negative home test: Symptoms started with mild itchy throat in the afternoon, progressed to dry cough. Day 2: negative rapid test, itchy throat/dry cough, slowly felt fatigued during the day, that evening chills started, then that night severe chills - fever - night sweats. Day 3: morning, finally positive rapid test (faint line). Super fatigued, headache, sore throat, nausea, chest burning sensation. Fever and chills. Night sweats during sleep. Day 4: very dark positive line on rapid test. Headache, cough, mild nasal congestion.

Just got test results with Covid. My experience was a migraine like headache for almost a full 24 hours that eased off with Tylenol. A fever for 1 day with a temp of 101.4. Also had some weird pinching feeling in my palm while I was sleeping that was so painful it woke me up all through the night

I believe Im just getting over it. I had mild symptoms slight cough , fever, night sweats/chills, scratchy throat, no appetite, strained eyes and a severe headache! Headache was super intense, while laying down but notice once I was up and moving around it wasn’t as bad, which was weird cuz I usually could slept my normal headaches away. All symptoms lasted 1-2days except I still had a slight cough day 5 currently (It’s more of a forced cough to clear my throat of leftover mucus) and strained eyes (meaning I can’t look far left/right or roll my eyes without pain). My son had a headache, fever, slight cough and scratchy throat. 1-2days My daughter just had a fever. 1-2days I’m assuming that we may have had it, Just isn’t 100% sure. Please comment Your Symptoms down below, Thanks!!!!!

Was tested today positive. Symptoms started like this: Three days ago it was so cold outside, came back home, two hours later I started feeling fatigued and like a ball in the centre of the chest I was letting out a few coughs more like so I can make my chest feel better. Day two it was fatigue all day, loss of appetite. Day three fatigue all day, loss of appetite. Day four which is today, I had bad migraines all day, then instantly after testing at home I began to feel that thing in the centre of the chest and I have to cough a little every now and then to release it. Migraines were appeased only three hours later after taking tylenol extra strength but I was also feeling dizzy. Vaccinated, with two shots. So far I feel like I'm having a bad cold with no sneezing.

I started with covid over a week ago and still have it. I started with cold symptoms... Scratchy throat, that turned into a bad sore throat. Headache, watery eyes, stuffed up nose, sneezing... Then it turned into a bad cough... And finally it turned into stomach virus symptoms. Throwing up, lots of mucus mainly... I think I'm at the end of it now but I still have a lot of mucus going down my throat and making me gag... No fever, or night sweats and no body aches

Honestly, I think I should stay home from school and be virtual. You see, this virus might just seem as a little particle that makes you cough, but I live with a family that has asthma. Although they’re fully vaccinated with their boosters as well, doesn’t mean they’re unable to get the virus, and not being able to breathe already with asthma and with a virus that requires taking big breaths, I’m not taking the risk.
