I had PTSD as an adult, and I don't know quite how I survived it, but somehow I did. I have no idea how children survive it, especially when you don't have decades of life experience BEFORE it occurs, so that you can understand that you may be able to get back to who you once were. I'm so sorry for what you endured as a child, and I'm happy for you that they didn't break your spirit, although I'm sure they tried. Wishing you the best as your move forward in your healing and blossoming into a beautiful life you love~
