Thanks for the tip! I thought the roots had something bad growing on them. Time to put it in a pot!

Well... If my poor plant survives, it'll be a miracle! I've been actively removing these with a toothbrush and baking soda - as many indeed told me it was mold. Thank you for the heads-up!

Omg me too I just clean these off today with a qtip & water. I thought it was fungus. It was also growing a lot in between the seed halves along with orangy-brown stuff and I cleaned everything out. I’m sure I murdered my seed. How’s yours now?

thanks for explaining this! There is a LOT of misinformation online calling it fungus and telling people to remove all the root primordia.

Hey Scott/comment section. I have been growing my first avacado for about 3-4 months now and I decided to prune it. Unfortunately since then (about a week and a half ago) I’ve seen no progress in its growth. I’m worried that it may not have enough energy to grow back or I may just have to be patient. If anyone has any advice that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

is it normal when there are so many of them? I have to avocado plants. One got really healthy green leaves but the root grows so fast and the root is filled with tons of primordias and the other one has much smaller root and the leaves looks lighter and looks more fragile. Should I be concern of this root primordia?

I’ve been softly removing these white spots and my leaves looked happy but after watching your video I will go ahead and let it be cuz I have been waiting patiently for new roots to grow but to no avail am I killing the new roots by doing that?

Hey Scott! I was wondering if it is ok to prune a tree to the point where it has no leaves left. My seedling is very tall and thin but has lots of leaves at the top, which I would lose if I pruned it. Thanks!

If the tree is growing well (not dying) this shouldn’t be a problem :)

Hey Scott. I sent you an email on my 3 year water growing progress I thought you would like and could help as content as well. I'm happy to have found your channel.

What? Just "post n ghost"? SCOTT! What about mycorrhizae inoculants? Are they beneficial AT ALL to avocado due to their unique and root hairless root structure?
