Phase 6 has eleven slots for upcoming movies and shows, but they only revealed 3. Fantastic 4 and Avengers 5 and 6. This has us wondering, what movies and series are going to fill in those 8 empty slots? [clip]
First up, the X-Men [clip]
We think it’s safe to say that the X-Men will have a role to play in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and definitely in Avengers: Secret Wars. [clip]
Meaning that prior to those films we think we’ll be getting our very first MCU X-Men film or maybe even a series. [clip]
After all, the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel did give us our first confirmation of the existence of Mutants in universe 616. [clip]
I make that specification because we did see Patrick Stewart’s Professor X in Multiverse of Madness, but that was in universe 838. [clip]
And then of course we saw Evan Peters’ Quicksilver in WandaVision, but he turned out to be… [clip, Ralph Bophner]
I’d love to see an X-Men film that gives us a deeper understanding of mutants in the MCU. Rumor has it that this X-Men movie will actually be titled “The Mutants.” [clip]
After the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home bringing back classic pre-MCU Marvel actors. Along with the confirmation that we are in The Multiverse Saga. I’d love to see a film that features more experienced mutants from another universe, such as the Fox X-Men universe. [clip]
Or a group of angry X-Men from the 838 universe who are seeking to avenge the death of Professor Charles Xavier. [clip]
And the way they get into the 616 universe is because an incursion has begun. [clip, Reed explaining incursions, Charlize Theron Incursion]
Now if we’re going to talk about mutants, we can’t forget the merc with a mouth. [clip]
We know Deadpool 3 is coming and despite its R rating it will still be considered a part of the MCU lineup. And we think it’s all but certain that Deadpool will show up in Avengers: Secret Wars. [clip]
With Deadpool 1 and 2 now being on Disney+, it makes us wonder if we could see an X-Force series as a part of Phase 6. [clip, Deadpool saying “X-Force.”]
And with more and more adult and even R rated content showing up on Disney Plus. Perhaps we could see the continuation of more of Netflix’s Marvel shows. [clip]
Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher are all now streaming on Disney Plus. And Daredevil is continuing in Phase 5 with Daredevil: Born Again. So maybe some of these Phase 6 slots include new seasons of Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and more. [clip, Iron Fist upset he wasn't mentioned]
Next up we’ve got Armor Wars, a series starring Don Cheadle’s War Machine. [clip, boom you looking for this?”]
This series was announced in December 2020 at D23. So when it wasn’t even mentioned as part of Phase 5 or 6, that had many fans perplexed. [clip]
For whatever behind the scenes reasons Marvel opted not to mention Armor Wars at Comic Con. We can say with great certainty that Armor Wars will be announced at this year's D23 as a part of Phase 6. [clip, the 2nd “boom you looking for this” where people laugh and Rhodie feels vindicated.]
Wakanda Forever is going to be closing out Phase 4. In the trailer released at Comic Con we got our first look at the MCU’s Namor the Submariner. [clip]
Namor is essentially Marvel’s Aquaman. [clip]
He’s a very important character in the comics and even served as a member of the Illuminati. So a solo venture following his character in Phase 6 isn’t out of the question.
Speaking of Wakanda Forever, Danai Gurira is confirmed to be starring as Okoye in her very own Disney Plus series. [clip]
Not much is known about the plot of this series. But Wakanda Forever’s director, Ryan Coogler, is reportedly producing it.
Phase 5 will be closing out with the long awaited Thunderbolts movie. A group of anti-heroes founded by Thunderbolt Ross. [clip]
Baron Zemo will definitely be a part of this Thunderbolt’s team. [clip, dancing]

I don't think we'll see any X-Men until phase 7 (apart from cameos in Secret Wars). Their potential is just too big. IMO the next SAGA may be The Mutants Saga.

Ehh, mutants while exclamatory and cool aren’t as big of a subject as something like the multiverse or infinity stones where you can build an entire saga around them. I would still love it but like i see mutants as characters not something the same as the multiverse of infinity stones that make up all aspects of reality and the universe so yea idk.

I think Deadpool 3 will be the movie in between the Avengers films. That way they can do the “Deadpool kills the FOX universe” storyline, and then either at the end of the movie or in the post credit scene we can see him get pulled into the MCU.

And actually, What if season 3 would make a lot of sense to be in between those 2 movies as it can explore the multiverse as it begins to get destroyed and we can see characters end up on battleworld. And maybe even have Utah joining the team and assembling the guardians of the multiverse once again. So, if they do this, they would definitely place it on the slots cuz this is really big. But otherwise, yeah, I dont think they would place it on slots even though they did place it for season 1. I think, moving on, they are not gonna place animated stuff on slots unless of course, it's really important and big.

What if when Loki killed kang, just like it allowed the events of Spider-Man no way home, maybe it’s not such a reach to assume that kang was pruning all the mutant variants, and once he who remained died the mutants including fantastic for and x men, get to come back because kang no longer is keeping them out of the time line? That makes sense since Kang is a descendent of Reed Richards, so in order to prevent Kang variants from fighting the multiversal war, He Who Remains pruned any timelines where Reed Richards existed.

Kang Dynasty will end with Kang victorious over the Avengers, or so it seems, Doom then enters the fray and destroys Kang, and the multiverse, with ease. Secret Wars will then open with some exposition on what just happened and the remaining Avengers making their way through Battleworld in order to get back to Doom. Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Logan, in the Old Man Logan world. RDJ or potentially Tom Cruise will be Superior Iron Man. Fassbender as Magneto. Bana as Hulk. Chris Evans as Human Torch.

Since a lot of MCU films, outside of origin films, will start to feature more and more characters, it seems possible that Doctor Strange 3 will actually be titled, "Doctor Strange: Midnight Sons" or "Suns" depending on if they alter the name. Would be an easy way to tie those elements together by allowing both a set-up for the team and provide a nice third film for Doctor Strange's solo-title trilogy.

Due to previous contract agreements that Fox Studios made with the previous actors that formally played the X-Men roles for Fox, they would have to be offered any potential repristal first or pay to break the contract which Disney wouldn't be likely to do. So at minimum, they wouldn't be able to cast anymore until 2025, at least officially, let alone start production and filming.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a Doctor Doom origin series on D+ sometime before F4. Deadpool 3 is for certain, maybe to tie it into the multiverse it could have Mojo as the villain and it takes place in the Mojoverse. A 2nd season of Moon Knight and/or Ms. Marvel along with new seasons of Jessica Jones and Punisher along with a Heroes for Hire show starring Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Colleen Wing and Misty Knight would be great. If World War Hulk is happening, a solo Hulk miniseries is a must, showing Bruce on the run and trying to keep the Hulk in check. Let’s hope he ends up crossing paths with a certain adamantium-clawed mutant in the Canadian wilderness.

If it was up to me, There would be: -The Exiles (a group of mutants who jump between universes like in Sliders (1995), if they can use some of the actors from the old X-men movies the better; like Laura from Logan's Timeline, The New Mutants, The Timeline of Days of future past, the destroyed timeline from the Sentinel dominated world and obviously The Gifted timeline since it needed a finale.) -Scarlet Witch movie: somehow I would like to see what Marvel does with her. If she battles Chthon the lord of Chaos Magic I would be happy. -Adam Warlock: a movie about him knowing what is destiny in life is and becoming the Avenging hand of light would be amazing. -Midnight Sons: if the movie have 9 characters, tells about the prophecy of Lilith and she is the villain in the movie I would be happy. -Captain Marvel 3: just to give closure to any plot that is not covered by now. -Doctor Strange 3: probably with the Empirikul as villains, with the subtitle of “Last days of magic” probably. -Black Panther 3: there I hope we see the judgment of the Celestials to Earth for the sacrifice of the Celestial Tiamut in Eternals (2021); the wakandian royal family, the fantastic four, the Eternals and others alongside Iron Maiden (a woman who was fused an Can control vibranium) try to stop the Celestials somehow. -Loki Season 3: it should serve as a way to start closing the MCU and giving it a finale, when we introduce to the audience the villain known as Akhenaten. -Avengers Forever or Marvel: The End: basically a group formed by Adam Warlock, Scarlet Witch, Thanos from 2014 (brought back to reality after Endgame), Supreme Strange from What If…? Season One, Thor (achieving the Level of Rune King Thor), Sersi from Eternals, Ghost Rider, Iron Maiden and Moon Knight) try to stop Akhenaten from using the Heart of the universe to subjugate reality.

We are 100% going to see Previous X-Men characters in phase 6, with the caveat that they'll be Martyrs for a greater cause or stepping stone/mentor for their 616 variant that will take their place. The route Ryan suggests (revenge for the death of Professor X) could also be plausible.

One of the projects between kang dynasty and secret wars could be What If season 2 which in the end would feature a post credit scene where all the variants from the show get transported to battleworld leading us straight to 'Avengers Secret Wars'. Second might be a movie or more specifically an origin story for the main villain of 'Secret Wars' who would be teased at the end of 'Kang Dynasty' and receive a buildup and characterisation through this movie which along with increasing our excitement for 'Secret Wars' would also give a lot of screen time to feature multiple variants of loved charcters in 'Secret Wars'. I hope the final villain is DOCTOR DOOM.

I think they'll do a Young Avengers project between the Avengers movies, setting up Doctor Doom stealing Wanda's powers in lieu of the Beyonder to create Battleworld. Young Kang/ Iron Lad would be part of this project a bit similar to what they did in Children's crusade.

ScreenCrush there’s still a Marvel Film Release Date left for 2024 on the Disney Film Release Schedule list and the date of the Untitled Marvel film is 16th February 2024 so you could make a video for the film as it’s the only film that’s not been announced for Phase 5 which still could be announced at the D23 Expo.

BushMaster from Luke Cage. With including Matt Murdock in the MCU, that also brought Luke Cage into the MCU. BushMaster’s origin stated that he was “special” BEFORE the NightShade. And if true, he could be the first confirmed mutant in the MCU.

I hope armor wars has to do with Punisher getting his hands on an Older version of Warmachines armor. It would be awesome to see Rhodey and Frank dismantle some random international crime faction.

Comics currently have Maestro Hulk defeating Doom. Perhaps a transformation into Maestro Hulk or a Hulk variant appearing in the MCU is a possibility.

I predict the OKoye show will adapt the young adult novel "Okoye power to the people". Its a prequel set in the mcu when Okoye just started out as a guard. she makes a trip to New York city with King T-Chaka for a chariety. where she gets caught up in a local battle between a neighborhood ravished by a drug that is giving ordinary citizens destructive powers being ditrubited by the same agency that invited King T-Chaka to the us.

this is a long shot but i rly think they should use precursor events or something for movies as advertisements, an example example maybe being thanos decimating xandar for IW or logan slaughtering all the mutants for an old man logan story
