I’m so sorry for your loss. My mum is in and out of the hospital waiting to get to rehab because the medical system in canada failed her so bad. She’s doing much better lately. I can’t imagine the pain of losing her as she’s my best friend in the world. I hope your heart heals well 💕💕

My mum has been in and out of the hospital on the verge of death as well. She’s finally doing better and on her way to getting what’s hopefully better permanent help. I’m so glad your mum made it and you both deserve the world. My mum is my best friend, and we both are on the autism spectrum with ADD/ADHD, OCD, anxiety disorder and depression so this video really made me happy.

I had a health scare with my mom in earlier 2022, so I get how much of a toll dealing with that kind of situation can have on one mentally and emotionally. I'm very glad to hear that your mom got help in time, and is doing much better. I found your personal story and your mom and Nana to be very sweet and endearing, and I couldn't help but feel warm and fuzzy on the inside They also brought a smile to my face) when they were on. Regarding the Peace Pets: I can see them being very beneficial for anyone on the spectrum as a weighted comfort-or as a general cuddle comfort buddy. They're adorable (I'm partial to Ehna, because-CAT), and the level of customization is great for fulfilling various different needs and desires. That workbook also looks like a great resource for emotional recognition and regulation-in a rather adorable and very approachable format. It's honestly great to see companies providing resources with this level of custom adjustment to suit each individual need. It shows genuine care for those that the Peace Pets are aimed at, and as a neurodivergent myself-I appreciate that😺💓

So sorry to hear about your family being sick but so glad everyone is doing a lot better. Can completely relate to the stress of things since my mother is in a care facility after having 4 severe strokes. This past January we lost my father and life ever since has been extremely difficult. I often stay with my 93 year old grandmother (dad's mom) during the day to keep her company and I love every moment of it. But sometimes I get overwhelmed and just need some me time. Don't feel bad about taking a step back from social media to take care of yourself and your family. We'll still be here. Loyal fans won't go anywhere I promise 🥰 Again, so glad that everything seems to be on the up and up and doing much better. It's good to see you back! 🐝🎉

I'm sure everyone here agrees that you didn't have to apologize for anything. What you went through and still go through is both physically and emotionally stressful and I'm sending lots of love and good energy to you, your mum and your entire family. 💕 My dad was formally diagnosed with a rare early form of dementia this year after two years of me knowing something was wrong but running into walls trying to get my mum to face the reality and our entire home life has become very difficult and stressful for all of us. My partner and I, my 90yo gran and my parents we all live in one house so my dad's situation affects all of us. And still I can only begin to imagine what you must have felt during that time. I'm very happy to see you again and your videos bring me (and all of us) so much joy, I hope you know that. 💕

Its absolutely heartbreaking when a beloved family member is sick and there's nothing you can do. So glad your mom is doing much better. Thank goodness you were able to get her to the hospital and be there for her. I constantly worry about my mom. She's been in and out of the hospital. Almost bled internally cuz the pain medication ate the lining of her stomach so she had emergency surgery. She's much like your mom diabetic sorosis of the liver, and so many more health issues. I have anxiety of losing my mom everyday because of that. My brother doesn't take care of her like he should and I am taking care of my disabled sister and dad, so I can't be there miles away from her like i wish i could. Lots of love and healing vibes for you your mom and family. These peace pets are amazing and I sent your video to a friend who loves plushies and has autism like myself. We both want one now. I loved the review from your grandma. Her comments on it bringing relief to her pain and anxiety made me happy and is what sold me on these. I have something similar to restless leg, they aren't really sure what it is, but I have weird twitches and spasms in my legs and they hurt a lot. I love using a weighted blanket for relief but it is impossible to carry it around. This is a great option. I took the which pet are you quiz and I am Ehno which is the one I wanted anyway. YAY! I am glad your mother is doing better and I love your reviews. You are one of the best reviewers on KZbin and I love all of your content.

I’d love it if I could see you have the full Build-a-Bear Workshop experience! I no longer live close enough to one and have to buy my friends online. I’m autistic, physically disabled and an adult who loves the entire experience of picking a furry friend, doing the heart ceremony during the stuffing process and finding outfits for them. I find some of the scents really nice, especially the seasonal limited ones like Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint. I don’t get the scents in all my friends and some friends are softer than others.

I've been needing something weighted and I love these! I'm so glad your mom is on the mend. Seeing your interlude the day you received the news was heartbreaking and familiar to the day I lost my mom. Itt's something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. You're a ray of sunshine and I'm so glad tthings are working out, this is a traumatizing experience, so don't feel bad if you need to take time even if things are better. We all process things differently.

If anyone was wondering how heavy it should be as rule of thumb weighted blankets should be 5-12% of body weight, but you should be careful with young children especially ones that may not be able to tell you that it’s too heavy

My mom saw some Fidgie Friends in walmart the other day, and, knowing that as an ADHD and Autistic person who loves dolls and uses fidgets extensively, asked me if it was something I’d be interested in. I told her yes and sent her your video on them. I didn’t see her message for a while, so she didn’t grab me one at the time, but I said that was fine as I wanted to go in and pick the one I liked best. I’m gonna send her this video too so she can see if a) it’s something she would want for either herself or my dad (both have severe knee issues), or b) its something to consider for a future birthday or Christmas present for me. Also gonna send this to my sister who’s a pre-k teacher so she can see if its something she’d like a few of in her classroom!

I have a weighted plushie Sully (from Monsters Inc). The removable weighted pouch is not very big, so it's not very heavy. He does have legs and more of a 3D form than these lap blanket pets, if that's something you like. I catch myself carrying him around and patting his butt like I'm soothing a baby lol. But hey, he was only like AU$30, so maybe US$15? I love that you decided to be vulnerable and share your world with us. Do you and your mum have similar eye issues (hereditary)? I bet she's proud of you and loves listening to your videos like I do.

Im glad your mom is better. I lost mine whe i was 15ish, she was 45 (im turning 46 on august 24th). Moms birthday would have been august 22nd. Im glad you still have her. As for the stuff.. Its earlier in the video but i know id like these. I have restless legs\body, worsened by being virtually a walking pharmacy. And as animals too, so much better. Yeah i also lost 2 of 3 cats this year, the animal ones could be comforting too. My lost cuddlers stand ins. Trying not to be a downer, sorry.

The same exact thing happened to my mom, except it was overdose of calcium! her thyroid started producing a lot of calcium for some reason. She was completely immobile, and unconscious for days. The doctors didnt diagnose it for days, and only because I kept pushing them.

When you mentioned your grandma I was like “Oh hey that’s what is going on with mine.”. Though in my case it’s her calling my parents (who I still live with) all the time and most times she’s in a bad mood but thankfully we do get good days. They're not expensive. In fact, they're kinda cheap for what they are. My weighted stuffie cost me about $60-$70. It costs a lot for all that weight, so try and keep that in mind. It's very fair pricing. However, if you can't afford that, they do come unstuffed if you have some good filling materials sitting around your house.

I wish I could buy one of those, but if the prices on their website are in US dollars (it doesn't say "US$", it just says "$"), then that means it would cost me 248.80 reais, and I just can't afford that. 😢 I understand the price, though, as it seems to be of very high quality, and it's not their fault Brazilian currency has such a low value these days. I just wish I could buy one, I've been wanting something like this for a while, when I noticed that having a plushie with me relaxes me, but I still felt like I needed one that was bigger... These Peace Pets would have been it, it seems. Thank you for your ever great reviews, btw. 🩷 Maybe I can find cheaper products somewhere else that serve the same purpose.
