What are the symptoms of histamine intolerance?

In mine case it is extreme swelling all over my body, puffy face, eyelids...actually everything to the level when every single cell in my body hurts!!! my diet was based on aged meat, cheeses, sea food, coffee, avocado, tomatoes, left overs from preparing meals for the whole week. I had no other symptoms just EXSTREEM SWELLING. about a week ago i started limiting from my diet all histamine triggers and after only 3 days my body was free in pain and swelling is coming down.

I seem to get flushing, burning ears, rash on torso after eating high histamine food. Even fresh meat can push me over the edge. I’ve also become quite sensitive to fragrances over the past year and have respiratory reflux. It’s so hard to find the root cause.

Sensitivity to smells is usually part of the autonomic system dysfunction that I address in my nourish your nervous system package. If there are also histamine type symptoms then it can be part of histamine intolerance or mcas, but not all on its own.

Ah yes. I've turned into a super smeller as well. Forgot about that because I've been staying home and purchased non toxic, no fragrance cleaners. Phew.

I don't have these symptoms, but do have burning mouth after eating certain foods. Now face burning and neck. Eating low histamine, but only thing I've found that helps is taking a nap even if I'm not tired. Could it still be histamine intolerance? Allergy tests came back negative. Thank you.

Burning mouth syndrome and chronic fatigue are often part of the cluster of symptoms I see in histamine intolerance and MCAS. I actually had the burning mouth myself once.
