Great overall assessment of general symptoms of MCAS. Thank you for doing the video. People that suffer from this, such as myself, *desperately* need others, mostly the medical establishment, to have some idea that this even exists, not to mention having an understanding of it.

I fell into this after I have been researching for the last couple of days. My migraines are out of control and my sinuses are waking me up at 3:00 every morning. I itch continues all the time. Hives, temperature problems. And you just so happen to have the perfect name. I have only seen one other person who spelled Luanne like this. I am going to my Dr. Tomorrow I hope she will listen to me. Thank you so much.

I swear. I have this. I swear I do. I’ve been sick for the longest time. Sneezing 50-100 x a day. Constant runny nose with puffy blood vessels inside my nostrils, some food gives me a headache or migraine or makes me nauseous and instant diareah, runny poo 10-15 x a day some days, constipation, a rash that appears on my face and aches/burns and stings when I smell certain smells or eat certain foods, insomnia, brain fog, extreme fatigue, sleep apnea, dizziness, heart palpitations, mouth ulcers, fibromyalgia, MTHFR gene mutation, T cell imbalance, autoimmune conditions.. MCAS is what I have. I’m almost sure of it 😭

I’ve recently diagnosed myself with MCAS after having problems for years. Today I went to see my GP expecting to have to talk her into accepting my diagnosis. Imagine my delight when she said “yes, you’re right, I have it too”.😊

Great information. I’m recovering from covid(day31), and I think I may have mast cell activation when I over exert myself now(exercise). I just started taking h1 and h2 antihistamines to see if it helps.

Thank you for this video. I've been going through all of this for about 6 years now. I just found out I gave two MTHFR gene mutations and see that it can histamine issues. Do you have any information regarding this? ✌️
@luannehopkinson
@luannehopkinson Жыл бұрын
MTHFR can impact histamine breakdown however it is not the cause that the body has an excess of histamine. I find that the epigenetic expression of genes can be improved on as well.

Hi, I have been down to just a few foods and I found Brain retraining was the main thing that helped me slowly tolerate more foods and medication. You should still make sure you get Medical support, but this can help to change how our body functions. I teach this or you can use a program such as DNRS or Gupta programs: DNRS bit.ly/2Yepn9A GUPTA bit.ly/2lDEiGJ My Neuroplasticity package p.bttr.to/3iARLJR Have a look at those, It is all science-based and really worked for me and many others!

Hi Joshua, I am literally suffering with all of these horrible symptoms. My doctor says it's all driven by anxiety and all she has prescribed is antidepressants. If you don't mind me asking, how are you doing now? Can you please share with me if you have found a treatment that has helped you? I would really appreciate your response. Thank you.

Summary: Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is a condition characterized by a range of symptoms affecting various body systems, often overlapping with histamine intolerance and other disorders. Diagnosis is challenging due to the absence of a definitive test, with clinical history and exclusion of other conditions being key factors. Complementary medicine and holistic approaches can help alleviate MCAS-related symptoms. Highlights: - Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) presents with diverse symptoms across multiple body systems. - Common symptoms include headaches, anxiety, gut-related issues, skin problems, respiratory symptoms, and more. - Diagnosis relies on clinical history, symptom patterns, and exclusion of other disorders. - Serum tryptase levels can be an indicator, but not all MCAS patients show elevated levels. - Complementary medicine, nutrition, and holistic approaches can help manage MCAS symptoms.

It may be, there is also a strong connection with the nervous system and both MCAS and long covid or post viral issues. We work on the underlying issues of the nervous system in BrainFood course which helps address the underlying root causes of the nervous system. Check out https:happywithouthistamine.com
