Is there any way to remember the direction of the arrows when looking at schematic transistor diagrams? There seems to be no consistency when comparing NPN's of different classes. Does the direction of the arrow signify direction of conventional current? If so, why does the arrow direciton of NPN JFET's differ from that of NPN MOSFET's?

Hi Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to keep it in mind. In BJT and JFET transistors, the arrow direction is relative to the conventional current direction. But in the MOSFET transistor, it's the opposite.

THIS IS WHY I STOPPED LEARNING THEORY SIDE DURING MY STUDENT LIFE . CONVENTIONAL , CURRENT IS SAID TO BE OPPOSIT TO ACTUAL CURRENT , ANOTHER CONFUSION FLOW OF ELECTRONS AND FLOW OF HOLES IN OPPOSIT DIRECTION , THERE ARE LOT OF CONCEPTS DIFFERENT AUTHORS EXPLAIN DIFFERENTLY AND MADE A MESS OUT OF IT . THEN AT A POINT WE HAVE COMPROMISE . AND MUG UP TO PASS EXAMS .

Great video. Let me help you make it better. Instead of saying "Take it on our knees" (nobody would say that) you could say "Use them on our lap" or "Rest them on our knees"

people barely talk about 5 pins voltage regulators , especially SOT23-5 . SOT23 is the package type and 5 the number of pins . Sir , could you make a video about SOT23-5 and six pns , and how to use them ? I came across these componant when trying to fix a dead laptop , and I don't know how to check them , because we are used with two or three pins components , I'm sure many people face the same problem

I will try to do research and make a video 🤙

And isnt it true that current on a battery marked + is actually populated with more - electrons. ?

The Unijunction transistor has been left out ( eg : 2N2160 ) , this has an Emitter and TWO bases ( b1 and b2 ) .... this handy little device is great for making pulse trigger circuits ( like a musical metronome , with a small loudspeaker as it's output ) ... they cannot be used for linear amplification ... modern types are called programmable Unijunction transistors ( PUT's ) ....... DAVE™ ............
