What Are The Virtues Of Salatut Tasbeeh? | Shaykh Waleed Basyouni | Faith IQ

A lot of different opinions are present around offering this Salaah. This hadith was narrated by the uncle of the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . Ibn Taymiyah رحمه الله and Ibn Al Jawzi رحمه الله said it is a fabrication, while scholars like Ibn Khuzaymah, Al Hakim, Al Burqini, An Nawawi, Al Suyuti, Ibn Manda, Az Zarkashi, Al Monzeri and Ibn Hajar considered it acceptable and hasan.
Amongst the modern scholars Shaykh Al Albani رحمه الله considered this hasan. Early scholars reject this hadith entirely.

According to Ahmed, Ibn Taymiyah, Al-Nawawi, Ibn Uthaymeen (May Allah have mercy on them) its a weak hadith about Salat-ul-tasbeeh.
