Someone has probably already mentioned it above but yeah with regards to CYBORG, Cannon had already spent $1 million on the sets for MOTU2 and when it fell through, hastily got Albert Pyun to knock up a script to utilise these sets, and that became CYBORG. Pyun’s original cut was a fat more “artistic” and downbeat affair - titled SLINGER, which has had a Blu release in Germany, I think - and was completely recut I believe by JCVD to make it more of an action film and that’s what got released as CUBORG…

In case you didn’t know, Warrington Gillette only played Jason at the end when he jumped through the window. The rest of the scenes were with Steve Dash (the real Jason from Part 2.) Warrington kept complaining about the makeup and quit/more or less fired after two weeks of filming. If Jason is wearing the sack, it’s not Warrington. That’s why I find it despicable when he signs photos where Jason is wearing the mask.

One reason I can see putting multiples out is for troop building. There may be someone that would buy 2 or 3 VAMPS at once. Some would buy as many Stormtroopers, Cobra Soldiers, or Horde Troopers as they could get their hands on. Others may collect one figure, so they'd buy up multiple Skeletors.

Aw man, I had a couple of Last Action Hero and Demolition Man toys I thought they were awesome lol. I remember a Last Action Arnie has a spring arm to throw dynamite and bits of like rebar, that was awesome. Another one just had like a laser gun haha ok maybe that one wasn't as good. Demolition man I remember looking like swat and having a ridiculously large cannon/machine gun thing. Not sure I remember any outright bad toylines.. I guess the Duke Nukem toys... I had the whole line bought on clearance... they looked great, build quality is dismal. Leg joints broke in all the dukes, octo brain tentacles fell off and deteriorated, the only one I have left is pig cop, and even his tail fell off. Some of the star wars toys around about 10 years ago I bought for my kids were bad quality wise, I wondered if they were bootlegs they looked pretty jank, but they were legit.
