If this doesn't offend you, I read many messages asking about Big 4 and I will try to answer: I come from the Strategy and Transactions Division from a Big4. It is true that generally Big 4 are considered in other different category, however dividing by the division: specifically their Management Strategy Consulting Division can be seen as Tier 2/3 - EY-Parthenon for example is considererd as Top 5 in many lists (after absorving Parthenon). For me, Big4 are Tier 1 in Transaction Services; Tier 1 in audit, Tier 2/3 in Legal Services and Tier 1/2/3 in Consulting (it really depends on the service, for example Tier 1 in Financial Consulting or Tier 2 in Tech Consulting). So if you are interested in Strategy Consulting try to get in MBB first. *Aprox. Income per Big4 Division: Strategy Consulting 5%; Transaction Services 5%; Audit 30%-35%; Consulting 35%-40%; Legal Services 20%-25%
