I think about ten years ago, or so, there was a woman got an experimental brain surgery for weight loss. She'd had a gastric bypass and it didn't work. I always wondered how that turned out and why they don't try it for people with Prader Willie.

I hope he gets the help he needs. I'm not over weight but I still struggle with my weight. I can't keep a healthy weight. I weigh 79lbs I think anyway. Last time I checked. I can't keep weight on so I might be down. My clothes don't fit so I'm guessing I'm 73lbs now. Around there, not sure. I just hope I don't get to 66lbs again. Felt like fainting everyday. I hope this kid will be okay.

I feel like having Prader Willie doesn’t mean you have to be obese though. Parents just have to make sure to feed their kids the right thing to the right time and stick to it. Having a routine is very important, especially with Prader Willie Kids. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m pretty sure most of them become obese adults as it gets harder and harder to stop them from getting food

Yes your right but they have MUCH LESS muscle tone than the average person and a VERY SLOW metabolism! Combine both of those with constant hunger and ALWAYS having your mind wrapped around food and can’t think of much else,…. There’s just WAY more factors to take into consideration here
