Poster 7 is EXPLICIT PERMISSION TO TAKE Pictures and Video in all public spaces in and around the Post Office!!! You need to announce that Loud and Clear!! And you should contact the Postmaster and Let him know that the poster needs to be placed in a readable place at eye level! And all employees must be trained on the rules of conduct!!

What amazes me is that these auditors don't go out and scope out the post office before hand and know where the location of the Poster 7 is beforehand. This way they can point it out to the postal worker directly but then and again most postal workers don't really care.

Speaking of a wide open dock area. I do not remember who did the audit but they did a post office and discovered 5 carts of mail sitting on the dock within public reach and no one making sure nothing disappeared. When the auditor pointed out the lack of securing the mail the employees freak out and called the cops to have him arrested for tampering with mail. The video clearly showed he did not go anywhere near the mail and the butt hurt employees shut down the post office. That is your tax money at work people. Union labor at its finest.

I was in my local post office, and they told someone that they couldn’t take a photo of someone’s dog because the post office is a Federal building. Poster 7 was on the wall, so I asked the employee if Poster 7 was in line with what he said. He looked at it probably long enough to read five words, and walked back behind the counter where the mail is sorted. I think Poster 7 needs a dumbed down version for postal employees.

The PostMaster General has already done that. In addition, Rogue Nation carries a copy issued by the postmaster of his State(FL) whenever he does a Post Office audit, I have no doubt all Postmasters received the Postmaster Generals memo, whether they have passed the information on to their perspective Post Office managers is not always clear. Often times when RN shows them his copy asking if they have received it, some say yes, others just don’t answer😏

The post masters of the individual post offices look at them & some will post an updated one and some then put them in the trash. The employees never know the poster 7, rules. This is a tough one considering the employees were ignorant of poster 7 and your rights but then again 95% of all postal employees are. But they also didn't unduly harass or threaten you and either did not call the cop or were educated on the phone and remained passive with not much more than mild back and forth debating which is notable as well. It's a tough one..
