I want to jam with my dad. I played for the first time with him and it was so much fun. The guitar and banjo sound so cool together.

I'm practicing to get better at banjo and for future jamsessions or bands. I am also practicing because it's just fun.

I am practicing banjo because I’ve always been interested in learning how to play. Also, I want to be ready if anyone ever needs a banjo player. And...it’s another instrument that I can add to my arsenal of instruments.

Great content again today, Eli. As a pastor, one year ago I had never led a "virtual service" (now I've led 50), I had never led a "virtual" Bible Studyj, let alone used Zoom (now I've led 40+), I had never taught a confirmation class for 9th graders (learning curve--now at about a dozen), and I had never recorded a vlog (I'm up to 158, some of which I walk and talk in!). What a year for learning new skills! I'm in awe of your video editing skills. Keep learning and growing. You're really connecting with a lot of us.

On day 18 and just working on accuracy. Long term, I want to be able to inspire my grandkids to choose an instrument and play -- better yet, multiple instruments. My husband's family has a long-running musical heritage that has been a joy to the family and I would like to see it continue. Additionally, I would like to play some old-fashioned gospel songs for my pleasure.

Your videos in the past are great. I however I like the new format just as much if not more. Thank you for making them in whichever format you decide we are all getting great content. THANK YOU !

I live in German I play banjo and I love bluegrass music. But it's so hard to find players or musicians around here. That's why I'm soo happy that you are posting these videos. I just want to thank you for that man!

Hey there. I've been playing about a year and I can play a few songs accurately at a medium pace. But I want to eventually start to play with others. What do you recommend that I focus on during practice to meet that goal - playing with others. Should I shift my focus to learning backup first or spend some time on things like scales to learn my fretboard better?

Please consider making the desktop website use the space more effectively! The tiles and the fonts don't have to be that big. There's been a recent trend of blowing up every element on desktop websites to resemble mobile, e.g. Reddit and Facebook redesign.

@@austinholmes5277the reason large buttons suit smartphones as only clumsy fingers can be used instead of a relatively accurate mouse, but some people think it's somehow great for desktops as well.
