Atheism is the null position, we don’t have to account for anything. My personal view though is that they are real they are derived from our observations of how things work in reality. They are of physical origin, the products of thinking minds.

If I don’t know something I’m okay with not knowing if there isn’t any supporting evidence I can obtain to understand something. I shouldn’t try to force a belief on myself if I can’t justify it. Hopefully that answers your question, I guess I would need a specific belief if you wanted me to go into more details.

But Theists do not share the same attitude with Atheists toward other Gods and religions. Different Theistic religions offer different worldviews of God as an organizing principle for existence, but they all share the same attitude towards a God or Gods, mainly that a Deity exists and is worthy of worship. That’s not the same attitude shared by Atheists, who despite their non belief in any Deity, still have a myriad of Non-theistic worldviews to choose from. Not all Atheists share the same worldview. What if I told you that I accept the existence of all the metaphysical beings worshipped by other religions and that I just believe that their believers sometimes believe incorrect things about them? TMM makes so many dumb arguments and the one that stood out to me the most is when he claimed that the Gospels dying for something the knew is true is still not a good argument for why Jesus actually existed and his miracles were real and claims that "people have died for things they have faith in despite it not being 100% proven or factual" Like bro, it's been psychologically proven that no one is gonna die for a lie they know is a lie. If you held a flat earther at gun point and told him to say the earth is round, there's no doubt he will comply

Pope is just the Bishop of Rome.. the Ecumenical Councils were called by the emperor, bringing together all the Bishops, the councils were confirmed to be true / guided by Holy Spirit with time. Bishops can be corrupt, and there have been some robber councils, Popes can be correct. Everyone can wrong.
