THIS! When I don’t feel good a warm shower always helps at least a little or makes me feel more comfortable. Thats exactly why it feels like being in the womb. I also grew up in and around water so I definitely love it a lot for that reason too LOL

I went to an organ concert at about 34 weeks, which got them hopping, and at a violin concert at 36 weeks they were moving so much my husband and I were trying not to giggle at how much they were visibly dancing. I spent the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy seeing what music they would respond to and Bartok's Roumanian Dances continues to be a favourite for one of them at 18 months.

When I was pregnant with my son, I worked in an office, and played classical music on the radio all day. My son was born with perfect pitch, and learned to play the violin very well. I really believe it was because of the music he heard while developing. I didn't set out to influence him, I just loved the music.

Something I thought about often was if "dad" was gone often working, even 9-5, mom could play soothing recordings of him reading to their unborn child so the baby was as accustomed to "dad's" voice as it was accustomed to mom's voice when s/he was born.😻😻

My husband and I are both musically inclined (I sang and we both play instruments) so introducing her to music early was so important for us. I knew my baby could hear around 28 weeks gestation. I accidentally dropped a pot lid on the counter, and she jumped. I dropped it again on purpose to see if the jump was just a fluke. It wasn't. She could definitely hear! I didn't do it again, as the sound was not pleasant for either of us.
